Lathspell sighed heavily as he walked out of his class, nudged aside roughly by the many other students seeking to leave the room as quickly as possible. Lath couldn't blame them; Biology could be an exacting science, and Zoology was no easier. Lath had been pleasantly surprised when he discovered Zoology was an available class. It was uncommon, but for the most accredited (and wealthy) schools. Thanks to it, Lath was learning a little more about the creatures that inhabited the world. It was an interesting course, to be sure.

...But damnation, did it have homework. A lot of homework. Lath wondered if it would be considered dorm-work, since few of the students would technically be going home. Shrugging, he banished the thought and noted that he had moment before the next class was in session. Taking the opportunity, he sat on the windowsill, gazing out into the overcast, rainy mess that was the ides of spring. Grumpily Lath decided that autumn was the best season. It wasn't scorching hot, it wasn't bitter cold, and it wasn't...so...DAMNED....WET.

Sighing audibly, Lath peered across the courtyard, amusing himself by imagining lightning striking the students scurrying about in the rain.
