White Day is coming~! Of course, that doesn't mean anything to us outside of Japan, but to the characters of AHS, it's yet another chance to try and dry hump that guy or gal your character has their eye on. Teenage love, isn't it just special? Also, on an unrelated note, I've been playing Final Fantasy 13 (big surprise), and maybe it's just because I'm still kinda early in the game (Chapter 3, I think?), but does any one else think that Hope just needs to slit his wrists and get it over with? This list of characters are the main faculty members of AHS. If you need to get a hold of any of these characters, let me know. Also note, that they may also pop up randomly around campus. Principal - Shiro Mori: Age: 55. The current Principal of AHS, he and his sister, Rai, founded AHS as a place for young men and women with special powers to learn how to use them without being a danger to greater population. A middle-aged gentleman, Mori is rather unassuming. Bifocals, graying hair, balding slightly, in shape, but starting to gain a bit of a paunch, Mori looks like any other middle-aged salaryman. Good-natured, but stoic in emergencies, Mori is the rock AHS is built upon. Possessing powers of Telekinesis and Telepathy, Mori's mind is one of the most powerful on Earth. For years it was rumored that Principal Mori and Ms. Li were having a secret relationship, with Mr. E claiming to have pictures. This rumor was finally put to rest when Mori and Li finally came clean, announcing their engagement in 2007. They were wed in early 2008. Vice Principal - Mariko Li: Age: 40. AHS' longest tenured faculty member, Ms. Li was a graduate of AHS' first class, graduating in '87, having been the Special Powers Teacher since 1991 until her promotion in 2005. Despite occasional cries of favoritism and nepotism, Ms. Li is extremely competent at her job, being a stern, but fair disciplinarian. Tall and slender, Ms. Li dresses rather conservatively, keeping her shoulder length black hair in two buns, usually wearing long, flowing robes that keep her body obscured. The "Mystery of Ms. Li's Cup Size" has gone unsolved for decades with even Mr. E unable to find out. She wears very little make-up, usually just a little lipstick, however it's clear that she was quite beautiful when younger. Even now she's no slouch in the looks department. With her calm, warm, and friendly demeanor, Ms. Li acts as a mother figure in many students' lives, her office always open to those who wish to talk. Power-wise, Ms. Li's abilities are all based in transportation and projection. A master of teleportation and portal creation, there are very few places she can't go. She was well known for opening portals under unruly students desks, sending them into the lake. History - Cammy Blood: Age: 25. Bright-eyed and perpetually chipper, Cammy is a little ball of sunshine, always trying the brighten the day of her students and fellow faculty members. Fresh out of college with a degree in education, she was hired based off the recommendation of her older brother, the Head of Security, Richard Blood. She is rather naive and inexperienced, this being her first real teaching job, but she always tries her hardest and is almost always irrepressibly optimistic. On the small side, at 5'3, Cammy is quite slender with some decent curves, but since she's always dressing down, they're hard to see. She generally downplays her appearance, keeping her long blond hair braided in a ponytail and her blue eyes hidden behind a pair of glasses. However, if she made an effort, Cammy could very easily be a knockout. Now, while she is usually outgoing with her students and co-workers, she'll go quiet and get quite shy when Special Powers Teacher, Zane is near, having a huge crush on him. Unfortunately, for whatever reason, she finds herself speechless near him, helpless to do anything but watch as the older, sexier, and much curvier Math Teacher, Yukiko, flirts with him. Cammy's power is that she posesses a mental database that would put Wikipedia to shame. The amount of information in her head is nearly limitless, which causes her to stare off into space at times or ramble about a subject until she snaps out of it. Math - Yukiko Shirokawa: Age: 27. At 5'8 with more curves than a Coke bottle, long, flowing red hair, golden-brown eyes, and a smile that could melt the heart of frostiest man, Ms. Shirokawa is a 100% Perfect 10 Knockout beauty. And she knows this. Yukiko knows that she is one of the most beautiful things walking the Earth and does not hesitate to use this fact to get what she wants. She has honed and perfected the art of seduction. She's been working at AHS for a little over 2 years and in those two years her classes have proven extremely popular, Ms. Shirokawa being quite skilled at getting her students to improve their grades (mostly the male segment). A shameless flirt and exhibitionist, she is a very vibrant and outgoing member of the AHS Faculty. Carefree and lazy, some of her favorite hobbies are sleeping and drinking. More than once she's taught her class hungover. When not teaching class, sleeping, or drinking, she can be found flirting with Special Powers Teacher, Zane Higashi. Somewhat vain, she's attracted to strong, handsome men. She and the Head of Security, Richard Blood (Cammy's older brother) had a brief fling early in her AHS career, the short relationship ending without any bad blood between the two. The two have been off and on since, their relationship ranging from friends to lovers and anywhere between at any given time. Yukiko's powers allow her to create any part of her body on any surface she can see. Literature/English Language - Henry McGuiness: Age: 52. At first glance, Henry is dull as dish water. He wakes up at the same time every day (always at 7 AM), eats his breakfast (always toast, occasionally with an egg on days he feels adventurous), and drinks his tea (two lumps, always) while reading the morning paper provided by his wife. He looks every part the classic English gentleman; short graying hair that is kept combed back, a small silver mustache and no other facial hair, maintained by the daily use of a straight razor, some wrinkles but not too many, and a charm that makes men and women desperately want him despite less than perfect looks. However, there are a few...oddities surrounding Mr. McGuiness. First of all, he always wears a Tweed jacket. Under it he's usually wearing khaki slacks and button down shirt with a bow tie, though he may alter the outfit, donning chainmail, complete rennaisance era wear, or something from the period he's teaching about, but the one constant is the Tweed jacket. Secondly, he claims claims that he is not a Meta, simply a normal man, but that claim is rather dubious considering what he can do. Henry is able to speak, give or take, any language ever, including lost languages, alien languages, highly devised code and INTENTIONALLY NONSENSICAL languages. Henry is also able to discern an individuals powers through a glance. He considered applying for Special Powers Class, however since he is "just a human after all", he decided not to. His final ability is regarding his fighting prowess. He IS a gentleman after all, and if the need arises, he will cast off his beloved Tweed jacket and roll up his sleeves to duel in fisticuffs with his opponent. While not a master of the Oriental arts, Henry is a well schooled boxer. Well schooled as in, he has performed the Dempsey Roll on a TYRANOSAURUS and knocked it the f*ck out. He can bench-press about 30 tons but somehow punches a lot harder. Finally, while Henry is quiet, polite, and very thoroughly British, with a tendency to drone when teaching (making his classes boring on occasion), there are rumors that he is possibly the greatest hero to have ever passed through AHS, but he would never boast about his feats. Seriously, his list of alleged feats are simply amazing: Spoiler: click to toggle The only one known for CERTAIN is the last one. Seriously, he says he's human but a good chunk of these are disconcertingly likely. Science - Dr. Roi Ichibana, PH.D: Age: 32. AHS' resident eccentric genius, Dr. Ichibana's classes tend to be rather...interesting. The only reason he got his PH.D (which only took him a year to obtain) was so he could qualify as a mad doctor. He's a silly sort, seemingly haven stolen Willy Wonka's wardrobe, usually clad in neon colored overcoats with matching top hats. While very friendly, approachable, and helpful, he does tend to view everyone and everything around him as something to experiment upon. This is one of the reasons he loves teaching at AHS, having access to such a large number of research subjects. During class, he likes to use students as research subjects, experimenting on them and using them as teaching aids. He doesn't only experiment on students however, having experimented on himself in the past. In fact, that's how he got his powers in the first place. Dr. Ichibana's skill in manipulating energy rivals some of the best, able to use it to bypass the flesh and attack an opponent's internals, usually by cutting nerve signals, disrupting power use, and even severing blood vessels. All without a single cut of the skin, his powers complimenting his physical skills. Being so brilliant, Dr. Ichibana tends to feel isolated and lonely, his best friend being Dr. Kobashi, the Head Doctor of AHS, Nomi being one of the few people as smart as Dr. Ichibana (if not smarter). Special Powers - Tsukasa "Zane" Higashi: Age: 30. With model-good looks, energetic personality, and martial arts mastery, one would think Zane is a shonen anime hero instead of a teacher. Ms. Li's hand-picked successor, Zane was the top student of his class, his powers making him the perfect choice for Special Powers Class. Using what Zane calls his Mirror Wheel Eye, he is able to copy powers and techniques upon viewing them used. Over the years, he's gained quite a few powers and techniques. In addition to that, his eyes give him enhanced perception and clarity, allowing him to see through illusions and to keep up with quick movements. Finally, they allow him to implant illusions and visions in the minds of those who look into his eyes. He's hinted that his eyes can do more, having never revealed the true depths of his abilities. Very handsome, he is a major heartthrob, having done some modeling in his free time. Due to his talent, and knowing he's talented, Zane can be a little arrogant at times, having a bit of an ego. Very energetic, his emotions tend to stay on the cuff of his sleeve. Usually, he's very friendly, but if you go out of your way to piss him off, he's not gonna hide that he's angry. A very quick learner, Ms. Li offered the job to Zane after he graduated from college, AHS being his first and (so far) only teaching job. Since he was in a similar position, he sympathizes with Cammy. He's rather fond of the History Teacher, Cammy Blood, however he think that she doesn't like him since she always seems to ignore him when he's near. Despite her coming on strong from time to time, Zane is attracted to Yukiko, the Math teacher, however he's never really acted on any of his desires. AHS Head Doctor - Dr. Ichinomi "Nomi" Kobashi, MD: Age: 22. Nomi's journey to Head Doctor of AHS was a unique one, with many twists and turns. A very nice, seemingly normal kid, no one ever had anything bad to say about him. He was always there for anyone who needed help. However, during his 10th grade year, people close to him started to die under mysterious circumstances. First his parents fell to a unknown illness, then his girlfriend died in her sleep. People who comforted him as he mourned soon died shortly after contact with him. A guy who was once very popular and well liked amongst his peers was now a pariah, avoided at all costs. His uncle and aunt, his guardians, kept their distance leaving Nomi alone, wishing for his end. That's when he was invited to AHS, learning that he was a Meta, that his powers made him the living personification of Death. The feeling of hopelessness he felt, that he would never get to be near anyone again without killing them, was bottomless, however when Mori told him that he could learn how to control his powers at AHS, if felt like the clouds had parted and the sun was shining. While his uncle and aunt were scared of Nomi, they did still love him. They were unsure of what to make of AHS, having never heard of people with special powers, but they eventually decided to let Nomi go, hoping that the school would help him. Once at AHS, Nomi blossomed into quite the scholar. Once he gained control of his powers, he graduated the next year. With a full ride, college and medical school were no problem either, finishing in just a few short years. Once he received his MD, he inquired about a job at the AHS Clinic. Last year, he was promoted to Head Doctor. Being on the short side, pale, his dark hair in an unstylish hairstyle, with thick, horn rimmed glasses, Nomi is pretty much as close to normal looking you're going to find at this school full of perfect bodies. He tries to work out, but due to his schedule and work load, he doesn't get a lot of exercise, and as a result he's slightly overweight. Very friendly and helpful, he's a bit of a nerd and can be naive at times. As mentioned before, his powers make him the living avatar of Death, any physical contact, or even just being too close to him, leading to inevitable death. When his abilities first manifested, he could not control his abilities at all, leading to numerous deaths, however he has long since gained complete and total control over his abilities and is completely safe to be near. In addition to that, like many students who attend AHS, Nomi gained some new abilities as he learned about his first. Through touch, he can cause objects to rapidly decay. For example, if he touched a steel wall, he could cause the steel to rust and turn to dust in just a matter of seconds. Not all of his powers are related to death and destruction though. During his time at AHS, he learned that he could cause the cells of a living being's body to energize, increasing their natural healing factor exponentially. Obviously, this helps a great deal when treating those who are injured. Though he (secretly) has a crush on Cammy, the History teacher, and is (secretly) attracted to Yukiko, the Math teacher, Nomi has been questioning his sexuality. Head of Security - Richard "The Dragon" Blood: Age: 35. Standing at 8 feet tall and tipping the scales at over 400 pounds (pure muscle), the man known as "The Dragon" is nothing short of a total badass. A former professional wrestler, he left that profession desiring more challenges. Hearing that there was a job opening at AHS and being a graduate himself, Richard applied, getting the job in 2004. Since his hiring, incidents on campus have decreased exponentially, many attributing this to The Dragon's...unorthodox style. While the rest of his security staff is outfitted in the latest in Meta-suppressing riot gear (donated to them by SERAPH), The Dragon roams the school grounds unarmed. Granted, he doesn't really need any weapons or armor, it's still a little odd. Also, unlike the rest of security, who are urged to stay in the public eye at all times, The Dragon keeps out of sight. His philosophy is that people are less likely to misbehave when they know the Head of Security is always watching. With his powers, this is not an idle threat either. His five senses are far stronger than a normal person's, firmly in the realm of super-human. Combine that with his super-human strength, speed, and endurance, The Dragon is quite the formidable tracker. Gruff and intimidating, he comes off as cold and more than a little bit scary. There's a sense of barely contained rage with Richard, as if he could launch into a berserk rage if pushed far enough. However, while he's not particularly warm towards the students, he's extremely dedicated to his job and to protecting the students of the school. Yukiko and Cammy are two of only a handful of people who've seen this side of Richard and is one of the reasons why Yukiko finds herself constantly attracted to Richard. A very loyal person, he is very protective of his little sister, Cammy, the History teacher, and will often check up on her. He dislikes Zane greatly because, in Richard's eyes, he's stealing his sister (History teacher, Cammy having told her brother that she likes Zane) and the only woman he ever truly loved (Math teacher, Yukiko). |

Teachers/Tutors/Mentors/Etc. - Coach Guy: Gym - Eve: Computer Lab - Kimiko Morioka: Librarian - Ohno Kasukabe: Dance and Music -Teacher Assistant: History & English - Elial Fulle: Age: 22. Elial Fulle, pretty much a Duke of England, arrived at AHS with the intention of learning about his meta-powers away from his stuffy England home. He is a very kind and gentle person who is always friendly and enjoys being helpful, which is ideal for being a student teacher. The young man has gathered a lot of knowledge from his own personal research about history in general as well as English. He does not tolerate absence and lack of hard work. With the thought of staying at AHS in order to encourage and influence more young people, Elial is the youngest member of the staff next to Dr. Nomi. The Englishman enjoys literature, mostly poetry and novels, but occasionally critical essays, and finds enjoyment in studying. Elial is extremely gentlemanly and always takes care of his friends and family, so he gets along very well with the rest of the staff. In regards to his appearance, Elial dresses a lot older than he is. He usually has his hair pulled back at the nape of his neck, a set of black-framed glasses for reading only on his nose. His deep red eyes are always scouring for more information and entirely enthusiastic. His typical suit attire, either a dress shirt with dress pants and loafers or a full on blazer and tie make him appear at least in his late twenties. Obviously fashionable, Elial is the kind of teacher who is easy on the eyes, but has no idea he is at all making half the female student body swoon every time he flashes an encouraging smile or turns away to write on the board. His enthusiasm matches Cammy Blood's, which makes him a very good compliment to her teaching style. His knowledge and happy nature also make him a great assistant to Henry McGuinness, who is quirky enough to have a sidekick. Edited by Ryu, Jan 12 2010, 08:47 PM.
