White Day is coming~! Of course, that doesn't mean anything to us outside of Japan, but to the characters of AHS, it's yet another chance to try and dry hump that guy or gal your character has their eye on. Teenage love, isn't it just special? Also, on an unrelated note, I've been playing Final Fantasy 13 (big surprise), and maybe it's just because I'm still kinda early in the game (Chapter 3, I think?), but does any one else think that Hope just needs to slit his wrists and get it over with? Name: Sarah Callahan (Heatwave) Age: 15 DOB: 06/22/1994[MM/DD/Year] Gender: Female School: AHS Grade: 10 Race: Meta-human Appearance/Clothing: Sarah is a lean-looking girl topping off at five feet. She has a somewhat muscular build, due to her years of Martial Arts training. She has long, fiery red hair braided down her back, dark blue eyes, and well-tanned skin from living in Saudi Arabia. When she looks at someone, it looks as if she is burning a hole right through you with her eyes. A normal gaze from her is rare. She typically wears a white tank top, worn somewhat loose, yet still fairly showing off her developing bust, and blue cut off jean shorts. If she's not barefoot, she usually wears sandals. The final item she wears is a scimitar strapped to her back. Personality: Sarah has a very fiery temper, just about anything can set her off. Her years of Martial Arts training have helped her to make it so that when she wants to, she can release her anger even if there is nothing to make her mad. She refrains from using her blade or power when fighting, relying on combat martial arts more often, but she can quickly bring out both assets when the battle heats up. She will always laugh at the thought of working with others, and so has almost no friends, but she can be a great ally if she chooses to team up with others. If she is ever given the opportunity to do something recreational, she would always be found in the gym, working on her Martial Arts, instead of shopping in a mall, as most girls would be found doing. Special Powers/Weapons: Heatwave - Sarah is capable of increasing or decreasing her own body heat, as well as the air around her. She is then capable of blasting the heat in any direction around her body, causing an effect similar to opening an oven with your face too close to the door. Depending on the temperature of her Heatwave, she can either simply warm up a cold room of roast a chicken, though the latter is very difficult for her and requires a lot of time and concentration. (Roasting a chicken implies she can come close to 300 degrees F, though as stated, it is hard for her to do.) The range of her power has to be around ten feet before the heat starts to disperse through the air around it, causing it to lose it's power, 25 feet max. Weapons - Heat-tempered Scimitar - Sarah always carries a scimitar on her back wherever she goes. Due to an immense amount of time honing her power, she is able to focus her heat down the blade of her scimitar, giving it the ability to slice through objects like a hot knife through butter. She must be careful when doing this, however, as she can easily melt her blade by accident. History Before Arrival: Sarah was born in Saudi Arabia, though her parents were both from America. Her father had been transferred to the Middle East, and rather than having a long-distance relationship with his wife, he decided to move his family there and settle down. It was a few months after they had moved there that Sarah was born. As Sarah grew, her parents noticed that she had develloped her father's temper, constantly going into fits of rage. In an effort to control her temper, her father had enrolled her in a Martial Arts course on the base, hoping that it would help her learn to control her temper as Martial Arts usually does. Unfortunately, all it accomplished was giving her the abillity to do more damage when she released her temper, rather than teaching her to keep it under control. She develloped her fighting skills over the next five years, becoming increasingly stronger, and even able to beat the older and more experienced students in the class, who always seemed to underestimate her. By the time she was ten, she was one of the best fighters on the base, surprising even the best soldiers on the base with her skill, as well as her temper. It was also around this time that she fully discovered her power, and learned how to use it. She had always known there was something different about her, always being completely fine no matter what the temperature around her. Her classmates, and even some of the soldiers, seemed to always complain about the heat during the day and the cold air at night, but Sarah could go through the full day without sweating one drop and stay outside the entire night without freezing. She had never really thought much about it, until this little trait evolved into something greater. She was in a rage again, as she usually was. She had gotten a bad grade on an assignment, and it had set her off like pretty much everything else. She clutched the paper in her hand and began hitting everything in sight, everything that wasn't alive, that is. When she finally calmed down, she oppened her hand to throw away the paper, but noticed that the paper had somehow become charred, as though it had been burned. At first, she shrugged it off, not fully understanding it, and figured that it had merely been a fluke. But then it happened again. She was fighting with one of her sparring partners after he had made her mad. He sent a punch right for her face, but she had sidestepped him and caught his wrist in her hand. When the fight was finally over, she noticed that his wrist, exactly where she had grabbed him, was burned. Finally, it clicked in her head that it was her that had burned the paper, and her that had burned the kid. As soon as she was home, she attempted to burn something else, to see if she could do it. Sarah grabbed some trash out of the trash can and held it in her hand, trying to see if she could burn it, but to no avail. This lack of success set her temper off, and she started hitting the walls wiith the trash clenched tightly in her fist. When she oppened her hand, the trash was burned almost to ash. She realized that her temper was what had awakenned this ability, and it may be the key to mastering this new ability. She grabbed more trash out of the can and tried it again. After a few weeks of burning trash in her hand, she began to figure out what her power was. She seemed to be able to heat up an oblect to the point where it would either burn, melt, or boil, depending on the object. So far, she was only able to do so if the object was in her hand, but that didn't really matter to her. She was having fun with her new power, and this was good enough for her. She now realized that her power worked on herself as well, which is what kept scorching hot days nice and cool for her, and frigid nights perfectly warm. After working with her power for a few months, her parents surprised her by giving her a weapon to use in her Martial Arts. Over the past few months of training her power, she had gone through fewer fits of rage, which had given her parents the impression that she was actually calming down, and so they decided to reward her. The new weapon was a scimitar, a traditional weapon used by the people of the Middle East, and it was hopefully going to continue to occupy her thoughts in order to continue to keep her calm. The first thing Sarah did with her new weapon was to take it outside and swing it around, learning how it felt as it moved and adjusting her own movement to work better with it. She had practiced with her power and weapon for about two years when she made two new discoveries. The first was that she was able to incorperate her power through her weapon, giving the blade even greater cutting abillity. She had been outside training with her blade, having worked for about half an hour, when she noticed that the blade was changing color. When she touched the blade to a tuft of grass, the grass ignited and withered away to a black pile of ash. She then figured out that she could heat up her blade with her power, makind it deadlier than ever. If she superheated the blade, it was able to melt it's way through most objects, allowing it to cut through other blades that it normally couldn't cut. The second discovery, was that her power wasn't limmited to physical contact alone. She had been working in the kitchen, cooking up some food while her parents were out of the house, and had set a pot of water on the counter, ready to use her power to boil it. She had just put her hand close to the pot when she realized that it was already starting to boil. When she put her hand over the pot, she watched as the water quickly came to boil, without her even touching it. Once she finished cokking and then eating her dinner, she refilled the pot with some water, determined to see if she could actually do it again. She held her hand over the pot and focused her power through her hand, and was surprised to see the semi-invisible heatwaves emanating from her hand and going into the pot. the water soon came to boil, and she was determined to practice this new abillity and harness it's power for her own personal gain. She had worked with her new abillities for close to three years now, training them to perfection. Her parents had found out about her abillity earlier in the year when they discovered her popping popcorn with her hands while watching a movie. She explained to them what she could do, with several fits of rage thrown into the mix, and finally had her parents back off and leave her alone. She was also well known in school now for being the class freak, which resurected her violent behaviour even more so than when her parents had found out. She needed to go somewhere where noone would mock her or try to get her in trouble, but where could she go? As the summer was coming to an end, Sarah's parents sat down with her for a family discussion. At first, Sarah was prepared to lash out at her parents for talking about her powers again, that is, until her father spoke. He told her he had heard of a school she could go to where noone would be able to make fun of her for having an abillity, a place where she could fit in, and a place where her temper could be realeased as much as she wanted with almost no consequences. This got Sarah's attention, and she had to ask what kind of school would be that lenient toward a fifteen year old girl who could burn anything she touched. Her father told her the school was called Anime High School, and that nearly everyone ther had a special abillity as well. D:< That appearance is wimpy, come on two lines for appearance and two for clothing D: I really don’t care about clothing part but her appearance and yes I’m telling you this because you got other characters and you did better on them. Dark Prince super awesome questions of appearance =D She’s 15 so is she an early bloomer? Is she still flat? Is she ok for her age? I know that you’re a boy, but don’t be afraid of describing that O= She 15 year and 5 feet tall, does she like sports? Or is she one of those mall hunters? You may ask yourself what this has to do whit her appearance well a girl her age whit some sports backing her up tends to be more confident, better developed and so, a mall girl tends to be more make up, accessories aka very girly and this is tied up whit there personality, and yes she has a fiery temper I read, I can tell you by experience that it doesn’t change if they like sports or not though based on your clothing and stuff she may like some sports and yes I’m partially stereotyping, but its quite true at times. She’s a red head, ouch, her eye’s are there one of those colors that pop on contrast to her red hair and tan skin? Green, Blue or Darker colors, black, brown. I can throw more questions your way but then you may want to kill me, I hope this helps you and gets you on the right track =3 Personally is walking the same path you got a good start, but you’re going to need a bit more, some of the questions above may help you expand it a bit. Now I’m going to leave you here that way you can concentrate in those two things Ok. ^_^ you can do it O= |

p_q can you add a bit more to appearance? @_@” Just a bit more o= Personality passes now *nods* History looks good The Scimitar passes Heatwave: The concept works, though I need a top temperature, the blasting of heat is a bit iffy it would depend on how far it goes. Outside that it seem good : / I got a character that its basically the other side of the coin a boy whit subzero temperatures. *nods* |

I fixed the power so it had a temp limit, but I really don't know what else to put in her appearance. I tried adding a little, but if you have any suggestions, please let me know. Thanks. |

Sorry for the wait x.x Can you lower it to 300 F, This was just direct contact whit glue at that temperature, and you can make a room take that kind of temperature whit enough time and concentration, so docking the temperature some is not going to affect you to much, >:3 Lastly how far do her little heat blast go? |

All right, dropped her temp down to 300 degrees and gave her a 25 foot max distance on the range. If you see anything else, and I know Ive mentioned this in every one of these, please let me know. I am fully open to suggestions that don't completely change my character. Thanks. |
