Ah yes, after a two week induced Narcoleptic fit brought on by eel sushi, monster, and cheese popcorn balls I have returned with a quest. With the annoyance we call a job out of the way I am to call upon the gentlemen of AHS for the supreme collective of hidden wisdom that is hidden deep within the bowels of the abyssal fortress. To cleave the way through vaults of experimental monsters, moon bounce up from the panic room of the lost, and down the hall to the right of the Armageddon Codex. That which I seek is the knowledge to combat and engage mankind’s greatest foe … The women. Yes, the agile predator has been known to captor hearts and oft times steal ones soul for a time of bliss. However after said time leave stealing ones hearts and leaving man to feel like a Poe stuck in a bottle. On a more detailed oriented note, specifically looking at how different approaches work. Not looking for cheesy line, you can put em if you got em, but specifically looking for info on how to gain info on said objective without looking like a stalker, or if you’ve already nabbed her without looking like a control freak by making the decisions all the time. Example of legend being: I was told that women often like a guy who can make up his mind and provide a good for her as well during most occasions. (Reason being, were guys, were allowed to mess up and it’s inevitable that we’re going to choose the event solely on something we like every now and then. We can’t help it; we’ve got it logged in our binary genomes) However recently tried to let her choose stuff to do to find out what she likes, only to be told at the end of it I’m too indecisive. So with the power invested in me to kill chats of all ages and to subdue the hearts of the witless. I declare it a green light go, the vector has been set victor…. And if the ladies have made it this far and would wish, please fill free to go ahead and put down your perceptions and thoughts as well. |

Right. Decisions arent like ordering for her. It is more like going out and instead of asking 'well, what do you want to do' get her before hand and go 'hey, wanna minigolf?'. Because minigolf is awesome. You know what, I got nothing beyond minigolf. All the girls I ever went out with liked me because I was a funny bunny. At least, all the ones worth mentioning. *Gets a chair to sit with Ryu*. We should summon females to help. |

Wow, there's more observers then participants here, you three on the sidelines should really feel either foolish or ashamed. Based on the weird way he said it, I think he's being extremely serious, as if he's infatuated with somebody. I say help him out in whatever way you can. Although I must say that even though at the prime age of seventeen I've still never even gone out on a date yet, much less even had a girlfriend, I still think that -as DoubleNegative said earlier- don't try to be somebody you're not, everybody hates it when people do that, it makes you look like a schlep. As far as information on getting people to like you as opposed to info on how to not get people, I'm sorry but you are going to need to ask somebody who's actually been asked out before. However, I theorize that you are going to need to think about what the person you are interested in before you make an attempt at anything, otherwise you may make a bad decision. |

I know exactly what girls like. And while this may end up as entertainment for the lawnchair party, I feel I'm right on this one, at least. For one, humor. Not forced humor, telling knock-knocks out of a book. I mean that one thing that they must like is a degree of wit in us guys. Conversation is an art and a skill which can make you liked by all, women or otherwise, when done right. I'm not saying that it's the be-all-to-end-all, but generally I believe the casual friendly-if-somewhat-humorous method of speech is great. Any person who can take a boring moment, speak to a person, and get them engaged into an interesting discussion of things can hit it off well, because then you discover similarities and contrasts between you and the girl you're speaking to. This is not the One True Way to handle things. I simply believe it's a good one. I get on with just about anybody who isn't immediately a jackass, which is surprisingly alot of people. |

*Throws pop rocks at lawn chair party* So back and if you haven’t yet, don’t upgrade from windows XP to Windows 7 theirs a few things to download first … Anyhow, yeah didn’t mean to start speaking alien at the beginning of this, though I find whenever DoubleNegative and I speak, I have a tendency to confuse the hell out of you. So sorry for that, at the time it comes out of my head it is coherent, even when I take a step back for a minute to reread the passage. I’ll have to work on that. Thanks for everything so far, it’s nice to reconfirm some things on the subject of ladies. Be yourself is always good, except when you have bad habit of foot in mouth like I do when trying to do conversation with the ladies. That includes my humor intake; it’s the blond headed step child skill in the back of my mind that refuses to evolve from the levels of high school interaction. And I have nothing against blondes just that we have a lot of redheads in my family so the saying doesn’t apply to us very well… And damn your finesse and skill at wooing people in general mass, how I would bottle the skill and replicate it just for myself if my mind was diabolical enough to figure out how. So to clarify a bit on my first passage, I’m looking for ways to gather information on said topic. Ways that don’t leave a guy looking like stalker, nerd, or come off as trying to act overly cool. As much as I personally would like think I can pull off the technique go ninja on my target, in reality it would be pulled off like a swimming rock. Hhmm… I guess a little example would be nice to give so I’ll give it a go. So say you already know the girls name, ladies and I guess vice versa guys, do you find it creepy if someone looks at your facebook or myspace before working up the nerve in today’s society? Or rather do you think its lame if the gentlemen asks your friend about you or do you think its better for the guy to come straight up and ask you himself? Situations like this and beyond are what I am aiming to gain a little understanding and finesse in. So off the topic of how to first gathering info and change to ladies in general, my personal data gathering has lead me to these three conclusions. Which will soon be remodeled to include mass’s take on humor, because it described it really well in my opinion. 3.) Forethought, ladies in general, most of the time like a gentlemen to be assertive and plan for things. They like to be surprised in a good way, however personal experience has also lead to the fact this subject is easily breached, or the gentlemen can go a little too far without realizing it in our minds very fast. 2.) Energy, which will soon be number 4 with humor as number 2, the fact ladies like a guy who can come home after work and do something. Something other than turn the x-box (game station) on and relax from the day, even though it’s in our genes by now, even if its just going to get a movie and spend and hour or two with them. Heck I found that making a nice supper earned me brownie points at any time. 1.) The most important fact I think most guys overlook. Each and every woman is different. Down to the nuclei, as a guy I find myself trying to compare women to those I know about or rather those I’ve dated in the past. That’s a no-no each one is different and no matter how close in their similarities you can find, one may like herring and vinegar on their sandwich but the next one won’t. And you really don’t want to lapse by mistake because that’s not a nice thing to surprise someone with. So yeah I don’t know if its me, the girls in Oklahoma, or society but I’ve found that outside of school pulling information on someone has been like pulling teeth from a shark. That’s awake, with no scuba gear or backup. Yeah I know anything takes work but dang. It feels like lately women had a big meeting, without tipping off to the fellas, on new strategies on how to divulge as little information as possible. And the possible person responsible is the director of my work whom I believe to be a draconic ninja goddess of Doom out to alienate the general male population in general…. |

Since I don't use a facebook of any kind, even remotely, where I would put down too-much-information about myself in a manner that would make Karnak hate me, you can't expect any of my advice on anything to help you on THAT front. And it should never have to anyway. I wouldn't dismiss the conspiracy idea too quickly, mind you. They have ways... |
