In an alternate dimension there was a planet known as Terra. A world similar to our own, Terra was a utopia. That was before the Grimaldi attacked. Betrayed by one of their own, Terra has fallen to the nightmarish Grimaldi. However, not all is lost. There is a light within the shadow. Before the battle that led to the planet's fall, the leader of the Grimaldi, Pharaoh Amasis, once thought to be invincible, was sealed within a black obelisk. The key to freeing him? A certain necklace with a black diamond pendant. While Terra has fallen, the one in possession of the key, Princess Sophia Elhaym, was able to escape Terra. Where is she now? Earth. The Grimaldi are hot on Princess Sophia's trail and will stop at nothing to get their hands on the Princess and her necklace in order to release Pharaoh Amasis. If Amasis is freed, then no one in any of the universes in any of the dimensions may be able to stop the Grimaldi. The Grimaldi Invasion is coming. |

Ok, folks, I'm trying out some new things with the MSL, trying to address the main issues I see/saw when I did the last Main Storyline. This thread here is going to be used for updates, so hopefully people will be able to follow what's going on in the MSL easier than past ones. It's not really meant for it, but you can use this thread for discussion if you wish as well. Like I said, I'm trying out some new stuff, so I have no idea how this is going to go. |

The Princess has made her way to Earth, but on her trail is the Grimaldi's top tracker, the Black Dog, Anumeros! After being chased for over a week, Sophia has somehow reached AHS, collapsing due to exhaustion by the Lake. Fortunately, she was discovered by Go who has entered combat with Anumeros! |

Another question, if one misses (or chooses to miss) this event at the lake does it mean they've missed the MSL bus? Or will everything be completed there? |

An Invasion is much bigger then the small-fry scouts we've seen so far, and since the princess-in-question happens to be holding the soul of the enemy leader with her, I doubt this will be all they send. Most likely there is going to be more threads for the storyline then just this one, so I'm banking on that by not joining into the beginning of this MSL due to In-Character reasons. So I'd say wait till the next thread or two is built before jumping in, that way you can help stem the bloat that most MSL's get. Or, just wait till somebody else inevitably quits posting in the MSL to jump in yourself. |

To answer your question Tsukare, no it's not too late to join in, however I've already directed all 30 Canops towards the various people who were already in the thread. So unless someone wishes to share some of their Canops, they're all spoken for for the most part. Of course, there will be the fight with Anumeros, however he won't be going down even a fraction as easily as the Canops. Honestly, hanging back for a future thread would probably be best. There'll be a couple opportunities to jump in. And Krazycloud, like Grahm said, an invasion is a great deal more than one monster and some grunts. If you hang back here, there will most definitely be other chances to participate. |

After a long, hard fight, Anumeros has been defeated. Using a IED created by Jen, Cuddles sacrificed herself, the bomb being set off as she clung to Anumeros. As the students regroup by the Lake, Haohmaru is taking the Princess to the clinic. ------------------ Ok, I'm still trying to get the hang of keeping this thread updated, but I'm working on it! Anyways, when I make the next thread I'll be both updating this thread and making a Mr. E post. 2/10/10 Edit: Bumping this thread with the latest thread link in this thread's third post. Sophia has finally awaken and at the request of those present has told them her story. Though tensions are running high with Overlord having revealed himself at the Clinic, Mori has promised Princess Sophia AHS' support despite being sent threats via letter from the current leader of the Grimaldi. However, when Sophia was told of who sent Mori the message, Sophia seemed troubled. Just who is this Vizier Ophidian? |

The White Day Festival came and with it came another attack by the Grimaldi! Unleashed by one of the Grimaldi's "Children of Ra", the Beautiful Murderer Isiera, the Grimaldi's Invulnerable Bull, Taurmeros went on a rampage while the Canops attacked the students, injuring many. Though caught off guard and unprepared, the students present fought valiantly defeating many of the Canops and doing a great deal of damage to Taurmeros until reinforcements from SERAPH arrived. With SERAPH's help, Taurmeros was defeated, AHS victorious, though not without casualties. Back at the Grimaldi's HQ, on the former Planet Terra, the acting leader of the Grimaldi, the Grand Vizier, Ophidian watched these events happen and is quite displeased! Unaccepting of failure, Isiera asks for another chance. She had a plan in mind to capture the Princess that holds the key to Pharaoh Amasis's freedom and whatever that plan may be it can only mean bad things for AHS! |
