White Day is coming~! Of course, that doesn't mean anything to us outside of Japan, but to the characters of AHS, it's yet another chance to try and dry hump that guy or gal your character has their eye on. Teenage love, isn't it just special? Also, on an unrelated note, I've been playing Final Fantasy 13 (big surprise), and maybe it's just because I'm still kinda early in the game (Chapter 3, I think?), but does any one else think that Hope just needs to slit his wrists and get it over with? Name: Susan Mitchell Wayne Preferred Alias: The Metal Man Keyword: W2012 Age: 20 DOB: [02/27/1989] Gender: Male School: AHS Grade: 12 Race: Meta-Human Appearance/Clothing: First off, you gotta realize he ain't one of those old school rockers with the great big poofy heads of hair. No, The Metal Man don't swing that way. In reality he prefers to keep those dirty hair bands separate from the rest of rock n' roll. See the guy likes to keep things el nat-you-ral.. S'why his dirty blonde hair is kept short, and a bit messy. Also why the lucky son of a gun keeps a rather impressive set of side burns, very solid, no at all choppy. Girls love facial hair of any sort, that's why they never leave his masculinely carved face. Small side note here, pretty much the same reason the bum's square chin is glorified with bits of stubbly. Gives the ladies a little bit of bang for their buck. 'Course nuthin matters at all in this world, facial hair or not, when those brilliant greens settle right on your soul. Makes the girl's hearts go thumpity thump. Now this powerful arsenal would never be complete without a dashing grin of the crooked variety. Fully exposed pearly whites to boot. Really burns passion right to the wick. Girl's dig that burly gorilla-esque physique. Show's he's got the stuff to commit to sumthin, like workin out. Now as a relatively tall son of a gun, seein as how he he stands right at six foot two inches, picking out clothes becomes essential to show off the guns. Exactly why he dons the famous red short-sleeved button up shirt, equipped with that fancy collar to make his shoulders look even more masculine. The jeans though might need some work, a little baggy needing to held up with a very fancy leather belt. Darn things have been in his family since the eighties. He ain't about to just ditch them for some newer model, Metal Man don't play that. What he does play are some crazy cool black and white nickies, equipped with custom logo 'kickass' on the heels. Just so the kind folks know exactly what he likes to do in his spare time. Personality: Metal Man is one impressive son of a gun. He likes all those things that are sure to make the guy look good. Like long walks on the beach, short little love ballads ending with stories on how his grandfather gave him the guitar pick while death gripped the old man's heart. Yes MM appears to not run very deep at all. Which is exactly where everyone is wrong! THEY'RE WRONG! Metal Man's upbringing brought him up to respect so many different genres of music. Mostly due to father being a meta-human with abilities that revolved around music. When the guy rocked the whole world rocked with him. Hell clapping his hands was enough to break the sound barrier and topple even the hardiest of foes. Naturally while the Metal Man's father happened to be one of the most talented musicians known to man, the poor bastard went deaf. Doctor's say it's all because of listening to music a little too loud, go figure. Thus explaining why the young rockstar in training is adept at signing along with the lip reading, along with his over protective nature of all those who lack the ability to hear. Pretty impressive a hero who fights for the handicapped right? A real crusader. Surely such an outwardly shallow man has no more facets to his personality! Sadly MM finds himself growing into a much more humane member of society. His mother a woman once known to the world simply as 'Witch Doctor' happened to be a native american woman with a deep connection to the planet earth. Leaving such an impressionable young man with a deep connection with his earth mother. Not that he'll cry every time he drives past a dump. No, that'd be much to passive. That rock an' rollah attitude keeps such a fine young man from bein a pansy. Instead of sittin' idly by if the man of action catches a loser throwin a water bottle to the floor he breaks them. Usually just a hand or so. Just to prevent them from ever polluting again. Once upon a time the parents influenced young Susan to such a degree that their word really became all that mattered to him. Listening to tales of his father's exploits back in the days of old happened to be one of his most favorite activities in the world. Even with their murder the only thing keeping him from being a bitter sarcastic jackass is his father's dying wishes and it insultin either of them happen to be a thing this man just refuses to tolerate. Special Powers/Weapons: The Metal Man: His powers aren't exactly one of those great and mythical things that get passed down by some simple trinket that has been in his family for generations. Nah, nothing so cliche. These abilities happen to come from genetics. Both parents were meta-humans and recent studies have shown that it increases the chance the offspring will also be a bit different. Science is so great, y'know? S'why MM finds his powers manifesting in the exact same fashion his father's had. One of the most destructive powers ever conceived. The ability to manipulate sound. Right now Metal Man's profiency of such a thing isn't all that great. In fact most he can do is shout extremely loud, mask his voice with someone else's (Prank calling Rising Son and pretending to be a woman happens to be one of his favorite pastime.) and making an electric guitar sing without an amplifier. Such simple little parlor tricks. If daddy just happened to be alive the guy definitely wouldn't be brimming with pride. Well right now he's only capable of manipulating his own voice and making an electric guitar sound like it's plugged into an amp. As for how loud his voice can get its like if he had a megaphone cranked all the way up. The Flying V: A powerful instrument passed down from one Metal Man to another.The original used to for bashing in heads of all villains and for generally rocking out. In the newest generations hands all the stupid man can muster it to make it sing without an amplifier. So why even include it as a power? Well the damned thing is rumored to have been given to the original Metal Man by the Asgardian Gods themselves, thus giving whoever has the weapon the title of 'Rock God'. It bestows upon MM the unnatural ability to play any song flawlessly without practice, play any instrument that comes into his possession, and be used for a little close combat work should the need arise. As the weapon is made of ethereal material is is nigh high indestructible. Capable of taking a .50 cal round without a scratch. So what does MM use such a powerful weapon for? A fancy club. Beatin people over the head with an unbreakable guitar is one of his greatest hobbies. The very nature of the weapon is so abstract that in order to keep all of humanities mind from being blow clear out of their skulls. The weapon takes the form of a simple steel gray flying v, with a nice oak neck. History Before Arrival: When somebody grows up in a family with two very famous people it's kinda natural to feel a little intimidated while being in the same room as them. Meeting all sorts of famous people, getting your hands shook by the folks everyone else worships. 'Course seein' as how MM ain't one of those pansy no good whiney rich babies, he grew up pretty humble. His folks never commercializing their work really put a damper on being a rich baby. Besides being intimidated to a deaf guy and a woman who 'spoke' to the forces of nature? Not usually. MM grew up loving his parents. Pop loved rock 'n roll and passed that love on to his kid. Till those awkward teenage years the guy would rock the baby Metal Man through the soothing power of Rock 'n Roll. Made going to school a little interesting, MM felt this absurd urge to preach the gospel to all those unbelievers. Pretty awkward for a preschooler to be talking about sex, drugs, and women. Stress from social services really put mummy and daddy dearest into a tough spot. They weren't actively going out anymore and fighting crime but there still existed the need to protect public image for some people's sake. Time for mother step in, right away all that traveling to rallies and going out to protect the environment stopped. Had to spend time with a budding young man with the hopes of teaching him some vague idea of control. Besides once Sparky started to be a little less of a needy little girl, the man of metal toned it down a notch. He grew into one of those kind of kids who loves his bro but picks on him mercilessly. How else would the loser be able to stand up for himself? Not everything seemed to be all that hunky doory, despite their smiling exteriors. Movement in the underground forced the two retired heroes to disappear. Yes the two kids went with them. Had to get new last names, pretend to be... normal people. As a wannabe rocker, this simply couldn't be! MM never got the chance to play rock out with any of his friends back in school. Never got to throw that winning pass in football. Didn't even get to go to prom. All cause some wack job mafia Don decided that the two insulted him for the last time. So the rocker got a little frustrated with his parents. Soon nothing they did ever seemed good enough for the angry teenager. All they ever did was hide. Not the same kind of parents he remembered at all while growing up. It led to a rather heated debate on night which of course led to the typical teenage storm off. Harsh words were spoken that night. Hurtful words that MM never got the chance to take back. The night of his eighteenth birthday the young man found himself at a local bar trying to get his wimpy younger brother drunk, while the original rock god and Witch Doctor found themselves gunned down in cold blood. He felt like it was all his fault, still feels like it was all his fault. His mother found herself shot in the back by a seemingly kindly old lady while she shopped for groceries, something Susan always did. Dad? Well he got his by just not being able to hear. Shot in the back of the head back at the ol' homestead. Somehow they knew the two young men would want to take revenge on their killers. Instead of trying to deter them in the will it lead them to a trainer who'd help them hone their abilities and impart upon them the cardinal rule of never killing. Also led them to a nasty little asian man who never did anything for anyone. Always got in the way, caused a bunch of trouble. Because they met him, they also met one of the most notorious thieves to ever live. With drunken dares shouted and the heat of the moment all going to their heads Sparky found himself kidnapped and whisked off to Japan. Seeing as how the loser just happened to be his brother Metal Man raided the guy's life savings and enrolled to a place where he knew the answers might be. Hell he didn't even have to forge anything. The fake identity he had to suffer through when his folks went into hiding, happened to be two years younger. Young enough to enroll as a senior in good ol' AHS. Appearance: A fun read :P Good to go Personality:Nice Powers: The guitar looks ok in my eyes, I need a bit more time to read and wrap my hear over your sound power. This is more of a wow you did a good job, and I know that your here, but i need more time than you need to fix this this and this, since at the moment i see nothing that needs fixing. Ok, How loud can he made the sound? Does the sound need to come from him or can they be from another object? if its from another object how far can it be? How long can he keep it up? :/ I think that sums most of my doubt at the moment. |

Whenever I get a chance to increase in strength he'll have a more wide range of abilities, like what Shriek could do from the old Batman Beyond cartoons could do.
