Lilliana Estrela~Sometimes I have strange dreams...is any of this life real? Or not? Who am I?~

It seemed like ever since Lilliana arrived at AHS in a burning plane wreckage she'd been feeling a bit odd. Sure, she might be able to blame it on all the blood she'd seen, being taken hostage or that fact that she was in a completely unfamiliar place and was nothing but a doll to her parents and assistant. But no. It was more than that. All that stuff rolled up together wouldn't cause a person to go to sleep every night and wake up in the morning with their bed broken in half. All of that wouldn't cause her to have odd daydreams about unicorns galloping across a field...though that could be chalked up to being a teenager who loved unicorns.

She'd healed up from the plane crash by now and the doctors had given her a clean slate of health. So what was going on with her? It was weird. Lilliana decided she wanted to clear her head a bit today and so she had given her assistant the slip and had set out from the school. It hadn't taken her long to find the cliffs that she was currently walked along. She hummed lightly to herself and looked out over the cliffs. Far below the waves crashed into the rocks and a soft breeze blew her perfectly styled hair about her form. She was lucky there were no powerful updrafts, this dress didn't agree with wind.

"What would have caused my bed to break like that...it wasn't shoddy craftsmanship...father had my room outfitted with the best." She let her mind roam a little bit and lifted her arm, sniffing it for a few moments. And she seemed to smell odd lately. Even her stylist had commented on it. She couldn't put her finger on it. Yawning a little bit she slowed to a stop and turned to look out over the open ocean. It was funny how much nature could calm your mind, put it to ease. She closed her eyes and just listened to the waves and the wind.

Maybe she was just being silly, maybe she was just overthinking everything. She pushed her hands into a silk ribbon tied about her midriff which was tied in a bow at the back of her dress as an accent.

Kahle was none too happy at the moment, for two devious reasons... His nephews had thought to play a prank on him, which wasn't entirely unusual, but the prank had gone beyond amusing to just pissing him off. Alright, there were three reasons.. the third being they hid his favorite vest, SILK vest mind you, someplace out here. Where... who knew, and the demons had scampered off before he could get ahold of them.

So, Kahle was forced to rough it through the woods. At least he was smart enough to dress for a trek. He wore a pair of comfy jeans, though enough to take some of the beating he's already put on them in his hike, and he wore a nice silk long sleeve shirt of navy blue. Silk, because he loved silk.. and it was oddly tear restant and warm. He walked through the underbrush, pushing the bushes aside as he peered in all the dark little spots. Oh how the boys were going to have a nice set of teethmarks on their white hides! Kahle was busy muttering and searching, and he quite nearly missed the strange scent on the air. He fumbled over a bit of rocks when he paused. His head came up, and if he'd had his equine ears they would have been pricked forward.

He inhaled the scent curiously, it was somewhat familiar... and yet it wasn't. He couldn't place what it was about it, only it had him intensely curious. Not that it was hard to make a Unicorn curious... He shook his head, he had a mission after all.... but, Oh hell and Hershies chocolates...

Kahle slowly made his way towards the source of the scent, which wasn't easy in the rocky environment of the cliffs. Humans just weren't made for traveling as his equine form, but he couldn't search as well as a 1200 pound animal. In any case, he moved though with his mind going in a bunch of directions, until suddenly he saw her. Her paused when he saw the long pale golden locks draping down her back, shifting in the breeze. He studied her for a moment, still as only a prey animal could become, as he took in her sight. The girl wasn't anyone he knew, so he couldn't fathom why she smelled familiar. Unless he had happened upon some of he relatives, but he didn't recall as he stared at her.

Lilliana Estrela~Sometimes I have strange dreams...is any of this life real? Or not? Who am I?~

Lilliana's stylist had decided that she'd go 'simple' today. her dress was made of imported silk from egypt and sported hues of reds and gold which were accented by her long blonde hair. Humming lightly to herself she kicked a rock gently over the cliff, watching it tumble down towards the water below curiously. She giggled a little bit. It was amazing how entertaining she could find such a small thing. She leaned down and scooped up a small rock and tossed it over. It didn't make it all the way down though, the wind caught it and to her surprise blew it back up into the air and bonked her on top of the head.

She squeaked in surprise and rubbed the top of her head for a few moments. That had been unexpected. She grunted and decided to move along. She didn't need the cliff to attack her again, it was like some human-bonking monster. When she turned around however she was surprised to find someone staring from the edge of the forest. It was a male, with rather pretty hair. It was silver-white. She stared at him for a few moments and then tilted her head curiously. She didn't say anything for a few minutes. She just studied his form.

After considering him for a few minutes she walked up to him slowly and gracefully. She offered a polite curtsy and smiled, "G...Greetings?" She said in a polite and slightly nervous irish accent. Much like him she could smell the air a bit, there was that scent again...the one she'd woken up smelling lately. But it wasn't coming from her, it was coming from him. Perhaps her nose was broken? She did remember hitting it off the floor in the plane when she'd gotten knocked out. Part of her was a little wary of him, what if he was some sort of stalker who'd been watching her throughout her entire walk? Maybe he was a terrorist about to try and take her away and demand a ransom from her parents like the ones on the plane?

Lilliana clasped her hands behind her back, like she usually did when she was speaking with someone. It was a nervous habit that she had, along with shuffling her feet which she did for a moment, grinding the ball of her foot, sealed in her high heel into the ground.

When she swung about and saw him, he froze, and not just because she had a beautiful face. It was more so because he was gawking like a fool, rather than his usual suave nature. He collected himself after a start, brushed the leaves and such from his white hair, since any dirt shown like a beacon. He offered his warm, if slightly sheepish, smile to her as she curtsied. He blinked, recognizing a very un-Japanese gesture that he answered easily. He bent forward, dawning his usual classy nature derived from his English upbringing, into a polite bow. "'Ello, lovely 'evnin. Sorry if you caught me staring, I didn't expect anyone up here." He said hastily, lest she think him some kind of creep.

He took in her pretty face with a curiosity he often saved for truly pretty females. Kahle was something of a ladies' man, and his criminal history often gave him just enough arrogance and courage that most women found him attractive. Sometimes he could only wonder how very different he would have been had he not fallen in with pirates at such a young age. He studied her features, the long golden hair, sweet lips, and the bright blue eyes were all naturally pretty beneath the carefully tailored make-up women seemed to favor. She had a remarkable set of purple eyes that drew him in. Such a fascinating color that one rarely saw.

"Say, you haven't seen a silk vest someplace about here?" He asked suddenly, his hand running through his hair in his own habit. "My imp nephews stashed it someplace. I've been looking for it all afternoon." His nose was working as he wore his friendliness easily. She smelled... oh-so-very familiar. He couldn't help but wonder if she may have interacted with any of his kind, as he had already worked past the fact she wasn't one herself. She didn't have the starmark after all.

Alexandria Sakura Chandler~Sometimes the most powerful thing you can say. Is nothing at all.~

She stood there quietly and when the man returned the gesture in a polite way she smiled brightly. She appreciated the manners, despite disliking them being forced on her all the time. She glanced back towards the cliff with her deep purple eyes and then looked back, taking in his features as she spoke, "A good evening to you as well sir. Worry not, I am used to being stared upon at social gatherings unfortunately. I'll admit I did not expect to run into anybody here either." She didn't expect to run into anybody along the cliffs in all fairness. She'd come here to be alone and think after all.

As much as she had natural beauty, she owed alot of it to her assistant. Her skills surely made everything about her fall into place perfectly. Each ringlet of hair fell down her back symmetrically. The subtle white lining her eyes made them 'pop' against her flawless peach skin. She offered a smile from behind pink lips and then laced her fingers together behind her back as she continued to grind her foot into the ground. She wasn't used to meeting new people that she had to actually speak to. All the social gatherings she'd been dragged to over the years had been all mostly people she'd met before. But she had to be polite, that was for sure.

"A silk vest you say? I can't say I have. Would you like some help finding it? This IS an awfully big area to search on your own Sir...erm..." She realized she hadn't introduced herself whichw as of course the starting point of any social interaction. She curtsied once more polited and said, "My apologies, I'm Lilliana Estrela. It's a pleasure to meet you and if you'd like I would be happy to assist you in finding your vest. Silk being lost in such a place could ruin such a material!" She smiled brightly and then chuckled a bit.

She was always 'overly polite'. It was how she was taught and how she was raised. She hadn't always been like this. Back when her sister was still around she used to be rather rebellious. She had been the down and dirty type who would get in trouble for having mud-fights with her sister. Now-a-days the only mud she saw was either in a bath or being smeared on her face to keep her perfect complexion intact.

Kahle could tell just after the few moments they had shared, the girl was upper class of some sort or another. Probably European from her accent, though she didn't seem English. When she offered to help him look, he was rather surprised considering she wasn't dressed for... hiking of any sort. His lips curved into an amused and friendly grin. "I'm Kahle Grayson, its a pleaser. Do you mind if I call you Lilliana?" He dipped his head once more in response to her. Not that he was a fan of all the manners, but he'd been raised on old morals and centuries past edicate. Which he felt men of the modern age really could do with some of the old class. "and...I'm afraid those shoes are pretty, but not really up to rough terrain. Not entirely sure how you got up here as is." He said with a laugh.

He bent over and removed his own tennis shoes, his feet weren't huge for a human male, so she should be able to make do. "Here." He said. "I'm use to going barefoot." If she only knew... "I would normally not let such a fine lady out in the muck, but that vest is a keepsake, and it is silk as you say." He really and truly wanted to find his vest, it was all he had left of his father, with a bit of his brother's vest sewed into a secret pocket. Of course he had never told anyone how valuable it was, even his twin nephews, but it was special to him no less.

Lilliana Estrela~Sometimes I have strange dreams...is any of this life real? Or not? Who am I?~

"Lilliana is preferred, so I don't mind at all." She smiled brightly and let her eyes scan the area quietly, as if already looking for the silk vest that had been more or less 'lost' and hidden by the mans nephews. She looked down at her feet for a few moments and lifted one up and giggled a bit, "You'd be surprised how agile I can be in there." Which was ironic because walking in them was kind of like walking with hooves. It just came naturally to her. She ground the tip of her heels into the ground for a few moments and remembered walking along the beach the other day, she kind of liked the idea of walking barefoot again.

She glanced at his shoes and the sour look on her face was all too evident as she quickly shook her head, "Thanks for the gesture, but I think I'll go barefoot too. I walked along the beach the other day and it felt just divine." She leaned down, hopping on one foot as she tugged one black heel off and then did the same with the other, after the shoes it was the white stocking which were tucked into her heels. Then she was standing there, barefoot. Silver painted toenails peeking out from beneath her skirt as she curled her toes against the dirt. Lucy was going to kill her.

She smiled brightly as a bit of her adventorous side came out, "Let us begin the hunt! I'm sure your vest can't be too far off if you've been searching all day. I imagine it is likely just somewhere one would not think of looking. Children tend to have those little hiding spots that adults never think to check, no?"] She motioned for him to lead the way. She looke ddown at the heels tucked under her arm and frowned a bit at the dirt coming off her heels and getting off the dress. Lucy was really going to kill her. Oh well, too late now!

He offered her a warm, amused smile as she agreed to let him call her by her first name. Which was far nicer than all the polite speech the Japanese and high class favored. Half the time he forgot to add all those funny little honorifics, or he reverted to English. He shrugged as she boasted about her agility, but it amused him. "I'll take your word for it." He said with a chuckle.

Kahle only frowned briefly when she turned down his shoes, but he was no less amused by her want to go barefoot. She was a lady after his own heart! He let lose a small laugh as he tied his shoes together and tossed them over his shoulder. "Guess we'll both be a little closer to Mother Earth today?" He gave her his wild little grin before he watched her strip out of her shoes and socks. He didn't know why, but watching a woman slip out of heels was quite attractive. Not that the didn't look good with heels on, but he there was just something sexy about them coming off.

Before he could be caught staring again, he turned his eyes towards 'the hunt'. "Those brats are going to get it when I catch them later." He said in an annoyed huff. Though it was clear that Kahle was not a mean spirited man, he had something of a calm and gentle aura to him even when he was mad. At heart, he was still something of a prankster, but he was gentle in his vendettas. "Its a dark brown vest, old English style. Has my initials embroidered on the inside. He stopped briefly as he shed his annoyance, glancing at the pretty girl. "Thank you, by the way, Lilliana."

Lilliana Estrela~Sometimes I have strange dreams...is any of this life real? Or not? Who am I?~

It was rare, but she did try and pull away from the mannerisms of high soeciety once in a while. Not nearly as much back when her sister was about, but it did happen on occasion. She jogged on the spot and held up her fists in a 'I can do it' sort of way. She grinned a bit and then clasped them behind her back once more, "My word is all I've got...we did just meet after all." She shrugged her shoulders a little bit and suddenly wished she had pockets on her dress, it would make carrying her shoes alot easier while they trecked through the forest.

She dug her toes into the dirt for a few moments and then nodded, "It'll be nice. I walked along the beach the other day barefoot, can't say I've experienced mother nature all that much." She looked down at her feet and wiggled her toes, eliciting a giggle as she did so, "It feels funny." She looked around quickly, as if to make sure nobody was watching. You never knew when her assistant was hiding, ready to pounce her for getting dirty or messing up her hair.

"My sister used to steal my favorite toys and hide them when I was little. I know how you feel. We used to fight so much back then." Fond memories flooded her mind and she found herself wishing that her sister was still around. She looked up at Kahle and despite saying that the kids were 'going to get it' he genuinely didn't seem like the type who might unleash his wrath upon them. He might tickle them to death, or hide their favorite silk vests on them. But nothing crazy. He seemed like someone she could get along with, perhaps he was around the school often?

She took note of the style of his vest in the backof her mind and made a note to keep an eye out for something dark...and brown. Well, that was easier said than done. The ground was covered in dirt after all! She waved a dismissive hand and shook her head, "Not a problem Sir Grayson. It's giving me a bit of a chance to explore at the same time. So think of it as a benefit to both parties."

He glanced at her, not entirely surprised she hadn't been out in the wilds. She didn't look as if she saw dirt all that often. "Tis a shame." He said honestly as he turned back to his searching. "Nature is wonderful. Though she isn't always gentle." He noted absently as he pushed a bush aside. It felt good to have the dirt beneath his feet, though he missed his hard hooves in this form. He was also distracted by her scent as he walked and talked. There was something so naggingly familiar about it, but yet not quite recognizable. "Are you a student here?" He asked suddenly, curious.

"Watch that bit of rock, its sharp." He pointed down at the ground, warning her of the jagged bit of rocks that would no doubt hurt if she stepped on them. He danced around them easily with his strong strides. It was obvious he spent a great deal of times in the nature from how he moved so easily through. "And please, just call me Kahle." He said with a chuckle. "Sir Grayson makes me sound like my grandfather..."

She couldn't disagree with that. It was a shame she'd spent most of her life in her room like cinderella locked in a tower. It was a shame that her life was mostly one social gathering to the next with a few spa trips thrown in for good measure. She swore she'd spent more time in a stylists chair or in a bubbling bath of mud than she had outside. She glanced to Kahle and nodded, "Agreed. I have to admit...the dirt between my toes feels kind of cool. It's squishy and cold against my feet. It's kind of nice." She fell into step beside him as he asked whether or not she was a student here.

"Yup. I only just arrived a few days ago. I don't know if you saw the plane crash in the forest...that was me." She frowned a little bit, pain making it's way through her just healed body. She winced a little bit, "It was not such a fun arrival. But I am indeed a student. What about you?" He didn't seem like the student type, he looked young to say the least but he didn't seem like the type in school. Wait...she hadn't run into a teacher already did she? She looked him up and down for a few moments nervously, her dress swishing a little bit in the wind.

She was thankful that he warned her about the rocks because her foot was JUST about to go down on top of one. She lifted her foot up and said, "Oh...thank you." She tiptoed along now, keeping her eyes at her feet so she could avoid the sharp stones. She didn't need to tear her feet up. She resisted the urge to adress him as Sir Grayson once more but she nodded and smiled, "Very well Kahle." She giggled a little bit, raising a hand to her mouth as if it was embarassing to say it that way. She wasn't used to calling people by their first names. Except for her assistant of course.

"Was your grandfather a good man?" She asked out of nowhere. Maybe she'd offended him by adressing him as she had.

He let lose an amused laugh as she thought dirt between her toes was cool. "Cherish it while you can, its not always nice." He said as he peered through a dark hollow in a tree on the off chance his vest could be there.

Kahle stooped, pushed aside, and hunted through he brush and trees as she talked. Only he stopped abruptly and cast his bright blue eyes on her in true shock. "I wasn't here, but I heard about it. That was you?" He said, eyeing her in a very intense way as if trying to decide if she was injured still. "Are you alright now?" He asked sincerely, wondering if this hunt was really in her best interest if she just survived such a traumatic arrival.

He shook his head as he realized she asked about him. "No, I'm not a student. My nephews are, their twins with white hair like mine. So you'll probably see them about." He said as he turned to hunt again. "I visit them a lot, and sometimes help out in the nurses' office if there are very serious injuries. I wasn't about when your plane went down, though. I'm quite sorry."

Kahle's lips quivered into an amused smile as she giggled. It was a very sweet sound to hear from a pretty young lady. "He was a good man, yes. Live in the English Countryside most of his life. He was a local doctor and healer." That was as close to the truth as he was going to get, she may have been a pretty young woman..., but he was quite protective of his secrets.

Lilliana Estrela~Sometimes I have strange dreams...is any of this life real? Or not? Who am I?~

She looked down at her feet for a few moments and tilted her head, "It gets bad?" She guessed the weather would probably effect it. Cold, wet or hot. She knew the beach had been covered in hot sand until you got near the water so perhaps it was the same everywhere else. She shrugged a little bit and made a note to try and enjoy it as much as she could for now. Not like she wasn't already...everything was a new experience to her at the moment and so she cherished most of those moments when she stumbled upon then.

Lilliana kept her own eyes peeled, she tugged a few bits of brush aside, looked into the treetops and kept her eyes peeled for the dark brown vest that they were searching for. It was a big island though and it could be just about anywhere. Maybe Kahles nephews could teleport and had stuck it right on the tip of one of the high points of the island? Or near the bottom of a dangerous cliff. She stopped in her own tracks and looked over at him and nodded, "Yup. Me, Three men trying to take me hostage, my assistant and a pilot." A bit of guilt flashed across her face as she mentioned the pilot but she was quick to try and replace it with a half smile.

She raised her arms and flexed her muscles beneath the frilled sleeves of her dress and nodded, "I'm A-ok now thanks to the well trained staff. I mean, I've still a few sore spots but I'm healed up. No more bandages, no more bleeding. I'm happy...I hate blood. Makes me feel nauseous and makes me sick." She made a sour face, going a tiny bit plae even at the mention of blood. She shook her head quickly and waved a dismissive hand, "Either way. I'm fine now." She reached up and tapped her chin thoughtfully, she hadn't seen any white haired twins about the school yet. Perhaps she would meet them in the future.

"I'll keep an eye out for your nephews and if they're clutching a brown silk vest I'll make sure to steal it back for you before they can run off with it!" She winked and and clutched her hands behind her back once more and looking about. She said nothing of his apology for not being there, she couldn't really place blame on him for something like that. She turned deep purple eyes towards him and raised an eyebrow, "Sounds like a good man to me. English countryside explains your accent. That's for sure. Eh Govnah?" She tried her hand at his accent but it didn't mix well with irish.

A snort of amusement could be heard at her question. "It can get much worse, yes." He said as if he could barely contain his amusement at such a simple question. He wasn't making fun of her, just the phrase.

On another note, he was really starting to wonder what the heck his nephews did with his vest. Surely they couldn't have put it too far? He could only wonder, and part of him hoped they had it stashed back at the school... of course that meant this was a wild goose chase, and that would make him all the madder. He huffed his irritation as yet another spot came up empty.

His bright blue eyes flicked back at her the mention of hostages. "That must have been frightening." He said with a strange tone in his voice. The kind of tone that came from someone who had been in such situations before. He really didn't want to think to far back on it, but he could sympathize.

His lips curved into a smile as she said she was alright. "Good, because I'd send you right back to school if you weren't." He said firmly. "Wouldn't want your pain on my conscience." Then he grunted softly at the mention of blood sensitivity. "You to?" He asked in sympathy. Though he was sure his reactions were far more extreme than her's. Since his flesh would actually burn and melt if it came in contact with foreign blood. "Glad to hear your fine." He said, turning away from such unfavorable topics.

A half laugh bubbled out of his throat as she mentioned snatching it from the Twins. "Well, if you bat your eye lashes at Ryfe, he'll swoon long enough." Then abruptly Kahle blushed a trifle as he realized how that could come across. "Sorry, didn't mean to sound so crude."

His eyes swung back to land on her with bright amusement as she tried his accent on. Really, it didn't suit her one bit. Which made it all the more funny. "Might wan 'ter stick ter your own accents, lass." He said, dawning an irish lit with ease. His mouth twisted into a mischievous grin.

Lilliana Estrela~Sometimes I have strange dreams...is any of this life real? Or not? Who am I?~

"I'll take your word for it." She had a feeling Kahle was having a good giggle at her expense. But she didn't mind. She was as most would say 'unexperienced'. She leaned down and tugged some brush aside to reveal a small hole in the ground and let out a squeak of surprise as a rabbit came bounding out of it, "Haha...nope. Your vest is not in there." She grunted a little bit and narrowed her eyes at the rabbit as it bounded off into the underbrush.

Turning to regard Kahle for a moment she chose not to really answer. The crash was still fresh in her mind and it was a bit of a touchy subject. She let the subject slip away quickly and acted as touch as she could in the frilly dress she was wearing. She fell into step once more beside Kahle and let her mind roam for a few minutes. How was she supposed to feel about the crash? How could she get close to anyone with a russion accent from here on out? She'd ran into a boy the other day who'd had one and had quite literally...run off.

She made a sour face and nodded, "Yeah...blood makes me icky. Gives me a fever sometimes too. Is that weird?" She asked cautiously. Perhaps it was a little in her mind, but for the unicorn beside her it was much worse. Though she didn't know that. Not yet anyways. It was only time before fate caught up with her and showed her where her path lay. She turned her eyes to Kahle for a moment at his comment about his nephew and grinned a bit, she batted her eyelashes at him rather adorably and tilted her head.

"Kind of like this?" She waved a hand quickly to dismiss his apology and then tiptoed over a few sharp rocks and began to walk backwards, facing him, "Crude isn't so bad. Kind of refreshing actually. I'm so used to talking with people that are nothing but proper etiquette and manners that a little less of it is nice." She wasn't lying either. In her few days out of the schools clinic she had met a few simply 'regular' people and had normal conversations with them. She might have gotten berated by her assistant afterwards on her social etiquette but she had enjoyed the brief freedom.

She frowned at his perfect iteration of her accent and pouted, "Heeey! You're too good at that. Cheater. Is that your power or something? Copying accents?" She raised a perfectly waxed eyebrow and sighed. Maybe he was natively irish as well as english? Wouldn't that be an interesting mix. She stopped in her tracks however when a nearby bush rustled and a cat-like growl emerged from it...

He turned when she let lose the squeak, his eyes shifting onto her with curiosity as to just what she may have gotten into. Then he saw the rabbit dart by, and he laughed softly. "I would hope not, else that rabbit would have a better sense of style." Lame, yes, but he thought it was funny.

Kahle didn't press about the crash as he sensed it was a sensitive topic, he couldn't blame her. Falling out of the sky into a flaming pile of debris, it wasn't at all pleasant. No doubt she had nightmares from it.

He shrugged, curious when she asked him. "It effects me about the same." He said. "Sort of runs in my...uh... family." He faltered as he quite nearly said 'kind' rather than 'family'. He was finding himself quite comfortable in the girl's presence, which wasn't entirely odd.. but usually it took him a little time to get to know someone.

Then suddenly she had stepped past him, his eyes followed her as she did a fine job giving him a sample of what she could do. His steps faltered as he watched her, a tad mesmerized before he shook his head and grinned. "Yu-up... Like that." He was certain it would work on Ryfe. He coughed once and ran his hand through his hair to get his mind back on the task at hand. He grinned at her annoyance. "I've just done an exceptional amount of traveling for most of my life." He said innocently. After thirty years, one does tend to pick up certain things...

Suddenly his whole body came alive as his instincts kicked into high gear. He scented the creature just before it let loose a rumbling growl. He reached out to Lilliana with his trained reflexes, snatching up her arm to pull her back towards him as he ducked behind a tree. "Hush..." He whispered, with his arm protectively around her as he peeked around the bark of the tree. His face tense as he knew exactly what the creature was. His whole body fairly vibrated with the want to run, but he had learned to control his instincts long ago.

Lilliana Estrela~Sometimes I have strange dreams...is any of this life real? Or not? Who am I?~

Lilliana couldn't help but giggle at the idea of the rabbit in a well-styled vest. Animals wearing clothing seemed a touch silly to her. Says the girl who had unicorn dolls as a child with hand-stitched clothing on them. She nodded in agreeance, "Though I imagine the vest would be a touch oversized for the tiny creature." She turned and regained her bearings and walked backwards in front of him. She wasn't sure waht it was about this man, he really seemed her type. Down to earth in a way.

She was glad he let the topic of the crash slip away into oblivion. It haunted her every step at this point. For a girl who hadn't had any world experiences she seemed to be handling it well, but what eyes couldn't see was the inner turmoil. She had already developed an unhealthy fear of any sort of height because of it. Even the cliffs before had made her afraid earlier and she wasn't sure she'd be going back to them any time soon. She raised an eyebrow at her curiously. Blood effected his family? She wondered what kind of family he had then...maybe he wasn't human?

She didn't press the subject of what kind of creature he was and instead contented herself with looking adorable, or at least trying to. She grinned brightly and made a note that if she ever saw his nephews to try such a technique. It would be funny if they reacted in the same way he did. She clasped her hands behind her back a bit as she stepped deftly over a rock and avoided tripping on a tree root. For such a 'high-class' girl she really was agile on her feet. She had been since she was little, just kind of came naturally to her.

"Alright...I guess I'll allow that excuse. Still...that was an uncanny accent. I imagine you've been to Ireland before then? Ever been by Dublin? We own one of the biggest estates in the city." Most had seen the Estrela estate if they came to Ireland, it was on the edge of the city but it was HUGE. She might have continued with the conversation but suddenlyu she was grabbed and pulled behind a tree as the growl came from the nearby bush. She blinked a few times and stayed quiet as she peeked out around his arm. She found it a touch odd that he was shaking, was he that scared?

From the brush stepped a black spotted jaguar, it was large with powerful looking limbs meant for sprinting. It prowled low to the ground, sniffing the air as if searching for something and looked around slowly, it yawned which was all Lilliana needed to see. It had HUGE teeth that could tear the two of them apart easily. It's paws looked the same.

He only smiled and shrugged when she mentioned the reality of the rabbit with his vest. His hands coming up like 'Well, it could happen', sort of expression. He watched her with his baby blue eyes as she walked, and could only note how sure she was on her feet. Most ladies of high class weren't so... 'gifted' in terrains that weren't manicured. He still felt that nagging sense he had seen her some place before, and it irritated the hay out of him he couldn't figure it out. Of course then he'd be distracted all over again by how pretty she was... What? He couldn't help it, he WAS a stallion...

Kahle shook his head to get his attention fixated on the hunt at hand. He really didn't want to miss his vest because he was trying to flirt with a pretty girl.

His mouth rose into a half smirk as she pressed him on his well trained ability to pick up accents. It had been a very valuable skill to have when one worked with criminals, and often had to play one part or another. Ako, his 300 year old dearest friend and Kitsune, had trained him well. Probably a tad too well, but he wasn't going to flaunt that. He nodded to her question of Ireland. "Yes, I've been to Dublin a few times." He said mysteriously. Though the now that he thought about it, the last name did ring some kind of bell. He didn't show it, but he certainly hoped he hadn't stolen from this girl's family before. That would certainly be quite awkward.. not to mention could get him arrested if he wasn't careful.

Of course all those thoughts were out the window the moment the predator appeared. His jaw was tight and nervous, but he managed to quell his shaking so as to not embarrass himself. He hated big cats, it was their natural enemies... frankly, he rather hated big things with teeth that ate meat anyway. He waited, stilling himself and easing his breath to shallow and slow rythum. The less he acted like prey, the less likely that cat would react, he hoped.

Lilliana Estrela~Sometimes I have strange dreams...is any of this life real? Or not? Who am I?~

Lilliana didn't say much more as they hid behind the tree from the HUGE cat. Well...huge in Lilliana's eyes. She wasn't sure how big the cat was compared to any others of it's species. All she knew is it had big teeth and was letting out a low growl as it sniffed at the ground and prowled around the open area they'd been in slowly. Lilliana didn't notice she was quite literally holding her breath and was huddled close to her newfound friend, it gave her a sense of safety as she watched the spotted cat.

One second it was sniffing about and then Lilliana shuffled her foot, breaking a twig in the process. The Cat's ears stood straight up and it turned and stared at exactly where they were. It crouched down low to the ground and readied itself to pounce at mostly unseen pair. It was a hungry kitty and it wanted some food. It let out a low growl one last time and then flexed it's back legs and launched itself into one powerful leap towards the two of them.

Lilliana was unsure what to do, if she ran it might make chase. If she ran it might attack Kahle and she had no idea if he could defend himself. She knew she didn't have much in the wave of defending herself except for maybe one of her high heels which she decided to clutch tightly. Maybe a good smack if the cat got close would deter it? It was a sense of bravery she really didn't posess but situations like this had a way of bringing out different traits in people.

When the cat sprang Lilliana let out a cry of surprise and held up her shoe in front of her defensively. It might not have done much, but it was better than nothing!

Kahle visibly winched when Lilliana broke the twig underfoot. Apparently she'd never had to play a prey animal before... But it was too late to be mad, and really he wasn't, he was too busy keeping his nerves in check around his kind's natural predators. The growl traveled up his spine, leaving small shivers, but he squashed down his instincts hard as Ako had taught him.

Of course the young woman decided to act in the most.... absurd fashion. He stared at her blankly for the barest moment, noting the shoe that would do little more than piss the creature off. Since you know, cats didn't wear high heels... fashion disaster and what not.

However, Kahle was already acting from his years of hard won experience. He shifted his body, reaching out and wrapping an arm around Lillian as he spun about. His free hand reached into his pocket, pulled free his gun in all the same motion, as he put himself between her and the danger. He lined up the target, aiming for a shoulder rather than the creatures head as Ako might have insisted. He rarely missed, since he trained his skills so he did not HAVE to kill. He fired his old world looking weapon, his face a mask of determination to end this situation quick. He didn't want to have to kill the animal.

Lilliana Estrela~Sometimes I have strange dreams...is any of this life real? Or not? Who am I?~

B-bump. B-bump. B-bump. Lilliana could hear her hearbeat pounding in her head. She watched as the cat flexed it's legs and launched itself through the air at them. Adrenaline was flooding her veins and she clutched her shoe so tightly that her knuckles were turning white. The cat moved through the air at high speed and it an unfamiliar part of her was quite literally screaming to run, but her feet didn't move. She wasn't sure what to think at the moment.

...Then Kahle decided for her. Suddenly he had wrapped his arm about her and pulled out a gun. Just under a week ago Lilliana had been held hostage at gunpoint on her own private jet before crashing into the hard ground. So needless to say that heights and guns were two things that freaked her out completely at this point. The shot came and she let out a cry of absolute terror. But another part of her, an unfamiliar part of her cried out for her...to run. Fight or Flight. That was the nature of an equine, the nature of a unicorn.

She dug her feet into the ground and moved to tug away from Kahles arm. She was quite literally shaking as she managed to run a short distance and crouched down. A tear stained her flawless cheek and she clutched her fists tightly in front of her. She wanted to run, she wanted to stay. She was so confused, and scared. If she was a horse her eyes would be wide, she'd be letting out a squeal and bolting off into the sunset.

The cat let out a loud growl as the shot thumped into it's shoulder. It was a predator alright, but it knew when to retreat and thus it bolted right off into the tree's, a trail of blood marking it's direction. Kahle had effectively scared it off...for now?

Kahle was fixated on the most dangerous problem at hand, the one with the teeth and claws. His blue eyes were nervous, but determined to protect the young girl who thought that her fashion accessory was sufficient to beat off a 200 pound feline. Obviously she needed a little help in the self-defense department...

His aim was as good as he had trained it, sending the cat running. However, he had expected many things of the girl, but absolute terror wasn't one of them. He froze, most of his senses on the retreating cat until it looked as if it wasn't going to turn back around, then finally looked over at Lilliana. His face was concerned and no small part confused as she sat, huddled in a shaking mess. "Lilliana?" He asked hesitantly as he moved slowly, hoping not to startle her further. His gun was slipped back into his pocket as he crouched near her. He was uncertain if he should touch her as he wanted too. Seeing the tear streaming down her cheek made him ache in guilt and worry. "Are... are you alright?" He asked, his voice thick with worry and a growing since of guilt. "I did not mean to scare you... just wanted to protect you."

If she let him, he'd slowly wrap his arms around her and start petting her hair like she was small girl. Petting always made one feel better, at least he thought. "I'm sorry dear, but your shoe just wasn't going to cut it." He said with a hint of a tease. "Mind you it was a lovely shoe, just didn't go well with his coat."

Lilliana Estrela~Sometimes I have strange dreams...is any of this life real? Or not? Who am I?~

At a later time she'd simply blame it on the events on the plane. But there was something deeper there. She sat there huddled, her body shaking. She sniffed a bit and reached up, wiping her now rather puffy cheeks. She jumped a bit and stood up, stepping back quickly as she was startled by Kahle calling out her words. She crouched down again for a moment and clutching her arms across her chest. It was just Kahle. Just Kahle.

She drew in a deep breath and looked up at him with those deep purple eyes. Tears threatened to leak back out of them once more. She wasn't sure waht to say for a moment and she studied him quietly, like a Horse studying something and decided whether it wanted to run. Her muscles spasmed a little bit at his touch but she accepted it after a moment and closed her eyes tightly. She licked her lips a little bit and shook her head gently, "I...it's ok...Just...The plane, and the guns..."

What should she say? That she'd quite literally felt like she should turn and run until she felt she was safe? That the gunshot had quite literally sent images flying through her mind and had made her feel a terror she'd never felt in her life? For anyone else the petting might be a bit odd, but she found it actually comforted her. It calmed her down a bit, she was still shaky and she managed a bit of a forced laugh, "I think if I'd used it Lucy might have killed me anyways...blood all over it." She frowned a little bit and spotted a bit of the blood on the ground from the great cat.

Her face paled visibly and she turned away and stood up slowly, "S...sorry I freaked out. That was not intentional...I'm not sure what came over me." It was obvious she was trying VERY hard to regain her composure and there was a confusion in her eyes as she did so.

He wasn't really surprised by her reaction now that he had a chance to think about it, after suffering such a traumatic...uh... 'arrival' to the school. She was clearly not over it, which made him ache on the inside. It was his nature to heal, and obviously this girl had some emotional wounds that were so very raw. His lips pressed together in worry, but at last he wasn't feeling entirely guilty anymore. At least she was letting him try to comfort her for a moment, at least until she paled and pulled away. It didn't take a genius to figure out what she saw. He could smell it, the sharp iron scent of blood lingering nearby. He hadn't hurt the cat terribly, but her trauma probably intensified seeing such a small amount.

When she rose to her feet and began walking away, Kahle was right there with her. His vest could wait, as there was a girl who obviously needed some sort of help. He loved his memento, but it came up short to the needs of the living. He watched her, not quite fretting as he wanted to help, but he place a hand to the small of her back to steady her. She looked far too pale than was good for her. "I have an idea, Lillian. Would you like to join me for some ice cream at the school café?" He asked hopefully. Sweets always cheered him up when he wasn't feeling too great, and she probably could use sugar to get the color back in her skin anyway.

Lilliana Estrela~Sometimes I have strange dreams...is any of this life real? Or not? Who am I?~

Raw didn't even describe it. The fear of heights would carry well into her adult years at this point. She'd already vowed to stay firmly grounded from here on out. Yesterday in class a teacher had asked her to get up on a stool and grab a book. She refused even that and had run out of the class. Lilliana shivered a little bit and reached up, running a hand through perfectly curled hair. The sight of blood only compounded the problem as she turned her back on it. The sight of it, the scent of it. It made her stomach turn. She still had a burn on her skin where Lucy's had touched her on the plane, another mystery she had yet to figure out.

Turning those purple eyes to Kahle as he spoke the thought of ice cream and the offer was a sweet one. She nodded gently, "I...I think that would be nice. Long as it isn't red." She said with a sour face. It was almost reflexive the way she responded when Kahle placed his hand on her back, she leaned into him a little, seeking comfort. She sighed a bit and said, "Then we can find your vest...?" She asked in an almost hopeful voice. She wasn't sure if she'd be venturing back out into the jungle any time soon. Then again...if it's where Kahle hung out she just might. He seemed the type she could get along with.

She offered Kahle a gentle nod. Ice cream did sound good. Really good. Apple ice cream. Did she like apple ice cream? She didn't know, but she sure wanted some.

Kahle's senses were working on over time, split between Lilliana and the forest surrounding them. He wasn't at all certain why she seemed so susceptible to frights, but of course he hadn't been raised in the upper classes of human society. He was fretting quietly beside her because he wasn't sure how to fix her emotional hurts. Unicorns were gifted healers, but there were limits to their abilities. He nodded absently to the statement about red. "Noted." He said with a little forced enthusiasm, but he was quite good at playing parts thanks to his criminal history.

He blinked as she leaned a little into his embraced, more than a tad surprised by the sudden trust she seemed to be displaying. Or was she that weary? He wasn't at all sure, but he wasn't about to bash the bit of good luck. He remained steady and a strong shoulder for her to lean on if she should need it. He was a western stallion after all, they were built for power as well as grace. His lips curved into a grin at her enthusiasm to find his vest. "After we take care of you. I may just hunt down my brat nephews."

He lead her carefully towards the café, picking the easier routs for their bare feet. Once the entered, Kahle was a total gentlemen. Pulling out her chair, offering it to her with a smile before tucking her up. The waiter came, and Kahle placed an order for orange sherbet and then waited for her to do the same. "Feeling any better?" He asked tentatively/

Lilliana Estrela~Sometimes I have strange dreams...is any of this life real? Or not? Who am I?~

Lilliana would certainly keep an eye out for Kahles nephews in the future. Maybe a good stern talking from her assistant would do them some good? Or not...she was just letting her mind wander now. She leaned against his sturdy frame for a few moments as they walked but eventually she walked on her own, clasping her hands behind her back and trying to force the images of guns and planes out of her mind. It's amazing how vividly things can come back if you are afraid of them. It was almost like re-living them. Maybe Lucy could like hypnotise her or something to forget it.

Pushing her thoughts aside she walked along, letting her bare feet skip over the softer grasses and trying to enjoy the sensations that ran through her feet and up through her legs, making a shiver run down her spine. Eventually they wound up at the school however and she noted his sudden burst of very gentlemanly manners. She was impressed to say the least but she didn't comment, her mind was still elsewhere for the moment even as she sat down and Kahle ordered sherbert. Lilliana was staring at the table, off in her own world for a few moments.

When the waiter asked what she'd like she nearly jumped out of her dress and looked up, "Oh...ah...uhm...Apple. Apple Gilatto please." She said with a quick nod as she turned her eyes to Kahle, "I think so. Thanks for the support. It is much appreciated. Just didn't expect it to be so vivid, you know? That, and the blood." She made a sour face. She had to stop mentioning it. If her face got any paler she'd probably be made of porcelain.

Kahle nearly shook his head when just about came out of her skin when the waiter arrived for their orders. His eyes were fixed on her as she sat there, while he ordered. Not once taking his baby-blue eyes off of her, as he was still worried. Though, when she ordered apple flavored gilatto, a silver eyebrow rose over his right eye as his lips quirked in amusment. That wasn't a flavor most ordered, but it wasn't a bad flavor... just not common. He let lose a short bit of chuckles until it seemed she was determined to ruin her own mood again.

He frowned briefly, reached across the table with his hand, index finger extended, and poked her gently in the nose. "Stop thinking about it." He ordered softly before offering his most sweet and heartwarming smile he could. usually the one he saved for cute little girls that could so easily wrap him around their fingers if they chose. "I'll gladly help a beautiful lady in need." He said teasingly. "And not just so I may see her light up with a real smile." Not-so-subtle hint there.

Lilliana Estrela~Sometimes I have strange dreams...is any of this life real? Or not? Who am I?~

Lilliana had her own hands placed neatly on the table, her fingers interlaced with her pinky fingers tapped on the table gently. She was a bit caught off guard when he poked her nose but not in a bad way. She sighed lightly and tried to let the thoughts drift from her head, and it was an easy task when he offered a smile like that. She flushed a little bit, a bit of color returning to her face as she nodded and offered a smile that was at least half genuine, "Thanks Kahle." She said with a quick nod. She wrinkled her nose a little bit and looked at it, if he smudged the makeup her assistant would FLIP!

...And flip she just might do. Because at that moment none other than her rainbow-haired assistant garbed in a baggy white t-shirt, torn up blue jeans and bare feet barge into the cafe. She stood there for a moment, as if sniffing the air and then her eyes landed on Lilliana. She frowned visibly and marched over quickly, "Lilliana...I've been looking for you...FOR HOURS." She exclaimed loudly, barely even paying attention to Kahle at the table.

Their ice cream had just arrived and Lilliana had found herself a touch lost in Kahles smile. Until Lucy's voice broke the quietly enjoyed moment. She sighed lightly and scooped up the gilatto, taking a big old mouthful with her spoon and turning her eyes towards the ground. After swallowing she nodded, "Sorry Lucy...I kind of got lost and then ran into Kahle here and..." She omitted the rest of the story because she could already see Lucy looking over her and picking out every detail that needed to be fixed.

Lilliana looked apologetically at Kahle and said, "Kahle...This is Lucy, My personal assistant. Lucy this is Kahle my newfound, friend." She offered him a bit more of a smile, he'd helped her relax a bit now so she was a touch more comfortable.

He was genuinely amused and grateful to see a real smile coming from the young lady. She certainly needed brighter things in her life, having had such a rough time recently. Seeming satisfied, he pulled his hand back and took a bite from his newly arrived ice-cream. It was great, cold and flavorful. He loved oranges...ok.. he loved fruit in general, but every fruit was tasty in its own way!

Of course the peaceful nature of their nice sit-down treats was quite shattered when a very... brightly colored woman appeared. Really, it was incredibly hard to miss her and the way she homed in on poor Lilliana. He didn't start, but his eyebrows rose high as he stared at the little angry rainbow woman. His gaze flicked over to Lilliana, confirming that she at least knew the angry rainbow.

He blinked at the woman as his name was mentioned. He waved absently, not at all sure what to think of a 'personal assistant' who seemed more like a colorful tyrant in the first few seconds. Of course then he seemed to get his mind working again, as he smiled with a distinct warm and welcoming friendliness towards the woman. He extended his hand towards the rainbow...er... Lucy. "Pleasure to meet you, Lucy."

Lilliana Estrela~Sometimes I have strange dreams...is any of this life real? Or not? Who am I?~

Lilliana looked between the two for a few moments as she introduced them to eachother. She wasn't sure how Lucy was going to react. She was almost always polite to most people and she got along well with just about everyone. Lucy extended her hand to Kahle and shook his hand with a surprisingly firm grip and then pulled it back to her side and nodded, "Pleasure to you as well. I see you've had the luck to see Miss Estrela here rather...dirty." She cast a disapproving look at Lilliana who simply took another big bite of her ice cream, she was content with it.

Lucy moved around behind Lilliana and began searching her up and down. She lifted up Lilliana's heels from the nearby chair and leaned down to look at the bare feet beneath the table. Lucy let out a sigh and grumbled, "Did you simply attract the dirt today?" She said as she slumped into one of the chairs at the table and tugged out a small book out of her pocket. With a brightly colored pen she scribbled a few notes and then closed it with a quick 'smack' and pushed it back into her back pocket.

Lilliana shook her head gently, "Lucy is not the biggest fan of dirt. Then again...I guess I'm not either?" Though she could have fooled just about anyone in the way she'd been today. Walking barefoot and not caring in the slightest. She looked to Lucy for a few moments and regarded the grumpy look on her face. She had known of the consequences of her actions but she didn't care too much really, "I'll assume it's straight to the room after this then Miss Lucy?" She asked as she pouted a bit. She had been having such a good day with Kahle.

Lucy simply nodded in response and turned her eyes to Kahle, "I assure you, she is not always in such a state."[b/]

Kahle didn't bat an eye at the firmness of her grip, but took it in easy stride as if it were normal. "Indeed I did." He said brightly, as if it had been something of a treat. Rather he was far more interested in how she was scouring Lilliana for the smallest hint of untidiness with distinct disapproval. Kahle took two more spoons of his icecream as he studied the display with his bright blue eyes with hesitant curiosity.

His attention followed Lucy the Rainbow with keen interest, noting how Lilliana took in the woman's inspection. He listened to the exchange with mild amusement. Not at all put off by the overbearing assistant who seemed to be allergic to dirt. When Lucy tried to assure Kahle that Lillian wasn't always covered in dirt, he let lose an amused chuckle. "Tis a shame, she looks good in anything. Including dirt." Perhaps it wasn't his place, but Kahle had faced worse dangers than a pissed off assistant of the rich and famous.

And if it came down to it, a little bit of dirt wasn't going to kill you.

Lilliana Estrela~Sometimes I have strange dreams...is any of this life real? Or not? Who am I?~

Lucy smiled at Kahle. At least the man was polite to say the least. She studied Lilliana for a few minutes and then stood up tall, clapping her hands together. She had the perfect remedy for such a state. She moved around and looked between the two for a few minutes. It had been a long time since Lilliana had actually had a real friend so she did something a bit out of the ordinary today. She glanced towards the door and smiled, "Perhaps she looks a touch cute in dirt. But it'll have to be scrubbed away. So I'm going to head up to your room Miss Estrela and run you a bath...see you in, what? Ten minutes or so?"

Lucy bowed, winked and then turned and walked out of the cafeteria. She smiled a little bit as she did. The whole point of Lilliana coming to this school in Lucy's mind was for her to make actual friends. As long as she didn't get TOO dirty in the process, then Lucy was a happy camper. She hurried off up the nearest set of stairs towards Lilliana's room on the top floor. It wasn't a long trip but Lucy felt the air quality in the higher up dorms was alot nicer. Plus...she SWORE the room had a few extra inches then every other dorm.

Lilliana giggled softly and finished off the last bits of her ice cream. She smiled at Kahle and said, "That's Lucy for you. Little overbearing to some...but I wouldn't have her any other way." Lilliana rose to her feet and walked over to Kahle and offered a polite curtsy, "It's been an absolute pleasure meeting you. I do hope we will meet in the future. Perhaps you can tell me more about yourself?" She wasn't very good at this sort of thing. She wasn't used to having to say goodbye to a friend for the day.
