His name was Malik, he had been a child soldier, working as one of the nameless ones for the Bratva, a human weapon, sent to do the Bratva’s bidding. All of that had changed the moment he met one girl, Kendra. Since then a lot has happened, he had married Kendra, then just like that it was over, he was gone and she was left alone because of internal struggles in the Bratva. He was taken to a gulag that was under the command of a Vladimir Rykov and he spent nearly two years, away from that life that it looked like he might be able to create for himself. During that time he was tortured and experimented on. The only thing that had kept him alive during that time had been thoughts of the girl he loved, getting back to his wife and then building a family.

He got his wish, of escape, but when he returned home it made him wish that he had truly died. His wife had divorced him and found another man. He was left with nothing in that moment his life just vanished in the blink of an eye, his love was not returned, it was not true and was not meant to be. However with the help of a young thoughtful girl he found his way back to the world of the living. He had sworn to win his love back, to have her. Of course soon that dream was crushed as he met another. A young feisty Valkyrie that went by the name Emerie. She was one of Kendra’s friends it seemed and before Malik knew what was happening he was off to another world. In Asgard he found a new love, he fell in love with the young Valkyrie, she had literally save him and on their journey through Asgard he had been given a new arm, had his ribs restored and had a quest to get a better weapon as his new job was to protect Emerie.

Of course Malik still had so much hate and anger inside of him. He found a goal, to become an immortal, to shed away the remnants of his human self and be able to have a life with Emerie. His hate extended to the human race, because he had seen the cruelty of the world and in the gulag, the torture was more than anyone should ever have to bear. So in short he wanted to gain a new more powerful weapon, and then work towards immortality. That was Malik’s story so far as he found himself walking into the old Arena. He had received a text from the same number that had sent him on his way to meeting Emerie, so he didn’t think that this could turn out to be a bad thing. The people behind that text however also sent another one to Kendra, but her text was a little different.

”Come the the Arena now, come alone or Malik dies.”

Malik didn’t go alone however, because his text didn’t say anything about going alone. “Hey, Emerie.” Malik spoke as they entered the Arena and found that they were alone. They were the first ones there after all. “Something feels off.” This was the kind of place where people executed other people, the sands here were already stained with the blood of students that would fight to the death.

-------

Meanwhile there were two helicopters heading to the arena, they would be there soon enough, but right now they weren’t in sight yet. There was one Kamov KA-60 with fourteen soldiers and one pilot. Then there was a Kamov KA-52 “Alligator” attack chopper. Both of which had the means to create a lot of havoc, but these two vehicles in particular were for demonstration purposes. They were to send a message from the man that deployed them that he meant business, that he would go to any length to achieve his goal, and that was the real reason Kendra was called. Emerie was an unknown factor, but Kendra had known connections to the real target behind these moves, and that was Raina Sasaki. She was an enemy of Wilhelm Sokolov, and the young teen was trying to get rid of her from the Yakuza, to completely restructure the criminal organization. In those goals, everyone else seemed to just be a chess piece. Although the men in the helicopters were very valuable and dangerous chess pieces, at least one or tow of them were.

“Hey, how many millions did that kid spend just for this operation. It has to be a lot considering the hardware. You think he’d mind if I borrowed that KA-52?” One man asked the man that appeared to be the leader of the operation. The leader was a man with a black cloak covering his face and a sword on his back. He wore a high tech armored suit, able to stop most gunfire. The man asking the question wore sunglasses and had brown hair, he was one of the only men not wearing a mask to hide his face. Of course he was relatively unknown to begin with so there was no need for him to hide, or at least he didn’t see the need to hide. This mission was taking place in the daytime which was why every other man kept their face hidden. The plan was simple, take the target, kill nobody and leave a witness to tell the Yakuza what had happened. It was a cocky and arrogant plan, and one that cost millions of dollars.

The man in the cloak spoke, his voice was scratchy, it was like he was whispering. “I don’t care what you do with the hardware, but instead of stealing the helicopter, why don’t you just ask to keep it as a reward once the job is done?” The man shrugged, he had figured that stealing it would be more fun and not only that he would still get to keep his cut. But it would be rather difficult to steal since there was already a pilot in it and he couldn’t see it landing in the middle of the fight that was to come.

In the helicopter there were a few other people of interest, there was the shadow man that sat next to the man with the big mouth, then there was another man, dressed just like the rest of the soldiers, but he carried a large and rather heavy rifle. There was also a tattoo on his arm that could be seen as his sleeves were rolled up, the part that was visible read: AB-31. And there was one other soldier that was probably one of the oddest ones of the bunch. He was a small guy and he just kept hitting his fist together. This last one seemed the most eager to land and to fight. To be honest he kind of frightened the more regular soldiers. Especially seeing those bandaged hands, it was like he was part mummy or something.

She had gotten the message and nearly opted not to go because of it but she knew that whoever was playing this game wasn't going to back down. They had already force Raina's hand when they killed a family. And even if she didn't love him anymore, she didn't think he should be killed. Not to mention he was her best friend's lover. Messed up right?

Kendra was rather cautious as she entered the area. Her key to Pixy was tucked inside her skirt pocket. She wore a black skirt with her black boots. A black jacket was pulled over a red halter top. A black cap covered her short blonde hair and her dark eyes were taking in everything. On her back was her guitar. Her weapon even if no one else knew about it.

She entered from the opposite side of the long forgotten old arena. While she had been asked to come alone she chose to not enter from the main entrance. Of course she might have been alone but she had messaged Darrel telling him of the message. Lives were at stake.

Irritation flare breifly. She didn't care for Malik but she was wondering why the hell she had to come alone while he was just summoned. Damn whoever set this up. Emerie was involved just as much and it pissed her off. Silently she approached them.

"Fancy meeting you here," she said softly as she looked around. She was on edge.

Emerie was perched up on a rail by Malik as lightning streaked through the sky. Her eyes were focused and sharp. After the Wonderland incident which she was still pissed at Loki for, she rarely seperated from her lover. He had unlocked her guarded heart and worked past her bravado to the sweet and damaged girl underneath. They were healing slowly.

"I don't either Mal." she murmured.

She waved at her best friend and main mayhem cohort and ironically her lover's ex-wife. "Ello ello." she chirruped. "Whatcha doin here?" she asked her wild red braids blowing in the wind.

Malik was happy he wasn’t alone in thinking this was strange, something was definitely off and then when his ex showed up there were thoughts running through his mind, but none of them were about trying to hook up with his ex. He was happy now, for the first time he felt that he was truly connected with someone. He looked at Kendra though as she approached. There was one good thing about her being here, he could finally return what he had forgotten to give her the last time they saw each other. “Did you get a text too, or did you send the text?” He asked her straight up, he honestly had no idea what was going on. “Oh, and before I forget.” He reached his hand into his coat pocket and pulled out a golden pearl. It had been repaired in his time with Emerie in Asgard, but he had forgotton to give it to her when he had seen her before. “Here, it’s fixed, although it looks different than before. I’ll give Adara her pearl when I see her again.”

Moments later the ground would begin to shake as the KA-52 swept low, flying by low and fast. It was fully armed and ready for combat as it circled the arena. It’s guns were aimed at small group of people in the arena. And then another helicopter came in, not quite as fast as it was carrying the main cargo of this mission. The Kamov KA-60, the door on the side opened up to reveal men all wearing black and dressed like military commandos. And there was the cloaked man with a sword on his back, his new eye was scanning the area, looking for heat signatures. He lifted a walkie with his left hand to his mouth as he spoke into it so everyone could hear him, even with his messed up voice, “I see three, two girls and one boy. The boy is the target, the girl with the blonde hair is the witness. I have no information on the girl with red hair.”

“Heh, lucky Malik, he’s there with two girls, meanwhile we have a sausage fest up here.” The man with the sunglasses and brown hair spoke as he moved to the door and looked at the targets. “That girl was with Malik when we were gathering information on them. I’m pretty sure she came with him. The mission’s good to go.” He spoke as the KA-60 flew above them all and circled around so that it could land safely. Once it landed men began to pour out of the vehicle. There was the man with the cloak and there were two regular soldiers next to him. Then there was the small one and the man with the tattoo on his arm. The man with the brown hair and sunglasses and the shadow man both stayed in the KA-60. Seven other soldiers formed a formation, it was clear that the leader was the man in the black cloak.

The KA-60 took to the sky again and moved back from the arena, but the men inside both had sniper rifles and they were aimed at the scene that was unfolding down below. The man in the black cloak lifted his left hand with the walkie to his mouth. As he did the two soldiers standing as his personal guard raised up shields around them. The shields were bullets, and it was the signature power of Abel. The seven others as well as the man with the tattoo also brought up shields. The only ones without them were the small one and the man with the cloak, and obviously the men in the helicopters. “The goal is to contain the threats and capture the target. No fatalities.” The man in the cloak had one feature visible, the ribbon he wore around his neck, a white ribbon that covered up his neck. All the soldiers remained silent as the cloaked man spoke with a weak and scratchy voice. “Malik, you’re coming with us.”

"I got a text telling me to come alone or you die," Kendra said, not sugar coating anything. She shot a half smile at her friend.

She blinked as he passed her the golden pearl. The pulsing deep in her recognized the magic in the pearl. Her body recognized the lost link and it recognized that it was fixed. Her eyes went wide in awe at the change in color. It was golden! Completely different from what she expected.

"Holy shit! You actually fixed it! Thanks a lot," she said and took the necklace. "It's golden. What happened to it?"

During her stays in Pixy she had learned the feeling of magic coursing through her veins. Her eyes changed to the neon purple they had adapted after finding out she was a pixy. As always she slipped her necklace one. It felt so good to have it back around her neck but there was no link. In fact it felt completely different. As if it was completely open. There was no sister on the other line. Hell normally they could feel the other end but now there was nothing.

The copter and everything pulled her mind from the pearl. What she didn't expect was the men to pile out of the helicopter and point guns at them. Snarling she pulled forth her guitar and watched it reform into a black and red broad sword. This was exactly what she was afraid of.

"What the hell?" Kendra said stepping closer to Malik and Emerie and then faltered.

Something swirled deep in her and she felt her body freezing up. It wasn't from the men in front of them. it was her own traitorous powers mixing with what ever Malik used to fix her pearl. She looked down as the orb glowed brighter. There was a resounding light from Malik's pocket where Adara's orb glowed bright as well. Kendra was completely confused.

Malik would feel a gentle press against his mind, like a question. The pearl was communicating with him, wanting to link with him. It was definitely not what Kendra had planned but she was the only one who knew anything about pixie magic. And she was discovering too late that pixie magic mixing with Norse God magic was a bad combination for her.

"Get bent asshole!" Emerie screamed her glaive growing to it's full size. Yup classy for a Valkyrie. She lost him for a time in wonderland she wouldn't lose him again. She bared her fangs. Lightening struck all around them.

Her heart was hammering and her palms sweaty. She looked at Malik.

"Hey before we trash these idiots...Love you." she said her voice soft and dichotomous with her tense frame and hard eyes. She would fight for him, she would always fight for him and if he died...she wouldn't be long behind. He was her heart and she felt so weak now that it was outside of her body.

Malik didn’t notice the pearl glowing, at least not yet, not with the men from the helicopter and the man with the black cloak telling him that he’d have to go with them. There was no way that was happening. Then when Emerie told him that he smiled at her, “I love you too.” He spoke softly to her as he moved to pull out his gun. It was then he saw the faint glow in from his pocket and he removed a silver pearl from it, it was Adara’s pearl and it was glowing. He looked at it for a moment before putting it back safely in his pocket and pulling out a pistol instead. He had two pistols at the ready. He aimed them at the man in the black cloak. “Sorry to disappoint you, but I’m not going to go with you.”

At that point the man drew out his sword with his right hand and pointed it at Malik, “I didn’t say that you had a choice.” With that the two soldiers moved in front of him, between him and Malik. Their only goal was to use their bullet shields to deflect all of Malik’s shots. This plan was made to exploit Malik’s biggest flaw, his reliance on ranged weapons. Of course it wasn’t every day that men like these appeared. They were all trained to fight in both hand to hand combat as well as with their guns, the other seven men all moved into a formation, around death, the only ones to not move were the man with the large rifle and the small soldier.

The small one was smiling under his mask as he began to appear like he was floating. He wanted to fight so badly and it looked like he had chosen his opponent as he moved quickly, using short and quick dashes to close in on Emerie. He was fast, faster than any human’s top sprinting speed. And soon enough he was near Emerie. “This should be a fun warm up.” He said as he moved again with speed, looking to end up in her blind spot and deliver a quick hit. His goal wasn’t to kill her, or even hurt her as he aimed at her weapon. He wanted to knock it away from her. The small one, he was the size of a child, but he was actually much older than that, he had many years of martial arts training, and he was far stronger than most of the men here.

The man with the tattoo and large rifle moved closer to Kendra. “Put your weapon away.” He commanded her, his voice was strong and had a Russian accent. He had seen her stumble and knew that he would be able to easily beat her in a fight, in fact his training in hand to hand might be enough, but his rifle training as well as his control over his bullet shield would make this a mismatch. He was able to handle his large gun with ease and even in close quarters he was able to get off accurate shots. These men, they all came prepared to accomplish their mission, and they even had two sharpshooters still in the KA-60, taking aim and waiting to see if they would even have to get involved.

(Kendra had NOT come alone. That was a lie. It was a ruse to make people believe that she would keep him out of this and come alone, but really she DID tell him and really...he was very much around here. So, in the shadows on the way here, Darrel Anthony Reggick had stolen inside to get around the old arena. Good god, at least it was inactive... They say that towards the end of its use, this arena went out of its mind and was like Glados crossed with Monty Python in here, a real mess. The platinum-blonde was not only stealthy and in his all-black sneak-suit - his old St. Lily's special class attire - but he was also in the Shadow-Step, invisible when in the darkness, looking like a grim reaper wraith when out in the light, and always silent...)

Darrel: When the hell would they have caught Malik to threaten her anyway?

(The answer was...they didn't. He was there, uncaptured and with another person. Apparently, they'd done something with Kendra's unlinked pearl from the other incident... However, Darrel couldn't exactly hear the full way that it transpired for two reasons. One, he was up in the audience. And two, there were helicopters all of a sudden! They came out as Darrel silently crept closer, low to the floor at the seats to retain the shadows as he got in close enough to hear...)

“Malik, you’re coming with us.”

(Oh, no he isn't. Something he could do for the old boy: Blow shit up! A Crimson Javelin formed in Darrel's hand as he stood up, his reaper-like appearance - which should be fairly-ironic in this case - now visible if anyone had been looking...and then the energy polearm was thrust in perfect accuracy into the middle of the soldier group. Now uhh...we dunno exactly what these shields are like, but the energy projection was a highly-explosive and corruptive dark energy that they probably weren't designed for. It's magic... Dark frigging magic.)

He may not have noticed the link that was created in that moment of him touching the pearl but Kendra noticed. She noticed because she became acutely aware of him and his feelings. Holy FUCKING HELL! Kendra could not believe what was happening. Adara's pearl was linking with Malik. That was not suppose to happen.

Even as his feelings started pouring into her head, giving her a massive migraine and the mixture of different magics making her sick, she was still glaring at Abel as he stepped up. His voice was one she recognized. Even if he was masked and Stella's brother in law, he was still pointing a frigging gun in her face. And that pissed her off. Her sword was more then enough to protect herself from bullets.

"Make me," she said and straightened with a wince. "I doubt you have much ability beside a gun."

She wasn't going to give away any information she knew of him. Unfortunately she had been told to not engage him but at the moment, she couldn't hold to that promise. He was threatening her. And his friends were threatening her best friend and best friend's lover. Kendra wasn't going to call him anything else.

Then came the explosion. She recognized it even if she didn't see him. After all, it was her boyfriend who was in the shadows. Not only had she been on the receiving end of his powers, but she had seen him use them. She took the explosion as a distraction and swung at him, sending her own red blades at Abel. She'd fought under the influence of mind altering chocolate so she could do this right?

Kendra was cursing the damn magic flowing through her. it was unneeded but it gave her an advantage that maybe 2 people would know. These people didn't know much about her and her magic. The pearl around her neck and the pearl in Malik's pocket were linked. She had the ability to transport to anywhere she was at. So they wouldn't be expecting her to appear next to him at any time.

"Yay I get the happy meal on speed." She said as her glaive stuck in the dirt. She pulled a pair of short swords from her back. She grinned madly her eyes shifting from vibrant blue to shimmering silver.

"Malik is contracted by GODS to protect me. His life is mine. He is mine. No one is taking him from me." She said before shrieking. It was an ear peircing glass shattering sound that would be amplified by the arena.

She turned to move closer to Mal. They needed to stay close together.

The small boy only smiled under his mask as Emerie abandoned her first weapon for her swords. He had to admit that it was a smarter move as the swords were better for close combat. At the same time he thought it was a foolhardy move, challenging him in his element. Close combat was what he excelled at, and he wasn't about to get bested by this girl. He used his mobility again to move in between Emerie and Malik, pushing Malik closer toward the other soldiers as he did so. The small boy spoke with a child's voice, "I'll be your opponent, and if you let yourself get distracted..." He stopped there as he used his glide step to move in close using his fists again to try and disarm her.

As the dark magic spear came rushing towards the other men, they all quickly acted. They had sensed the projectile, it was a power that even Abel hadn't developed yet. One man stepped up and moved quickly to intercept the spear, plunging his body at it before it could reach his comrades, right before it hit, he launched all the bullets from his shield in the direction the attack came from, trying to hit or kill the outside attacker. The bullets themselves moved at supersonic speeds, which was something else Abel couldn't do yet.

While that happened two of the men moved between their leader and Malik rushing towards him. Bullets that were fired from Malik's gun were easily deflected by the shield, he didn’t even see it coming when the man that was leading them drew his sword and cut through those two men as well as both of Malik's guns. His sword was sharp, terribly sharp as it cut through the metal guns as well as the two people standing between him and Malik, there was barely any resistance as his blade moved through those targets. Then in an instant the blade had been turned around and the dull edge was pressed against Malik's throat. The man had move quickly, not beyond human standards but all of this seemed like child's play to him.

He placed his right leg behind Malik's left leg and pushed with the sword to throw Malik off balance pushing him into the ground. In his other hand there was a device, given to him for this mission, one that pierced into Malik's chest and latched onto him like a leech. That device was meant to keep whatever was inside of Malik under control, they weren't even really sure what else it could do. All that the an who was now picking up Malik from the ground knew was that he had to put that on him as part of the deal. Malik himself had been knocked out from when he hit the ground. When he was picked back up a gun fell from the inside of his coat pocket, a loaded .357 magnum revolver. It was the only gun left not broken after the fight, if you can even call it that.

During the chaos that was unfolding, Abel was being attacked by Kendra. He let out a sigh as he adjusted his gun in his hand so that when it fired he could use the recoil to swing his arm towards Kendra which is exactly what he did, swinging his gun into her sword. As this happened he moved with his other arm to reach out and grab Kendra's wrist. He was trained in Sambo not to mention he could fire his rifle at close range, then there were his bullet shield. Since he had left to train he had grown better with his power, and he could, if he wanted to fire the bullets from his shield at his target, although not to the level of the soldiers behind him.

(Well, as you can imagine, the man who leapt right into the Crimson Javelin exploded violently, having played the role of Mortor Shell Catcher to a T. It was self-sacrifice, along with launching the bullets of his shield-thingy at Darrel. Fortunately, Darrel had cover, having launched that attack whilst still in the audience. Spectator seats were chewed up instead of him, though there was the odd nick from their not being designed to take quite that punishment. The Arena use to be more audience-protective back in those days. Speaking of protection, the main guy in between two minions sliced through his own men with a high-frequency vibro-blade - or something of that nature - to get at Malik and disarm him. This man - let's call him Greyfox, for now - attached something to Malik's chest. Couldn't be good, whatever it was. Darrel decided that now was the time to act, and jumped down into the arena. He landed silently, but disengaged stealth so that he could get the ninja's attention.)

Darrel: Hey, Greyfox. That guy's with me.

(He did not have his Di-Glaive on him, since that sword would probably ruin it. That meant that Darrel was basically unarmed...except for his training and abilities. Any good? Well, let's see. He started by manifesting another Crimson Javelin...and then hurling it up at a helicopter! Helicopters, even armored ones, were wonderful things. There was always the chance that he'd only put a hole in one with such an attack or miss the tail, but sending such a thing at the rotors? Spinning as they were, the nasty explosion would render that baby out of commission. That would be the K-60, by the by. Darrel had seen the snipers.)

As her sword collided with the gun, she was already preparing for the next attack. However she felt his hand on her wrist. She was better prepared for the fight. When Malik lost consciousness, Kendra knew it because there was a certain feeling that was shared over the unwanted link.

When Abel gripped her wrist, she yanked her wrist close as her boot came up to kick his knee. She could use her red blades with or without her sword so even if he disarmed her, she would still be able to fight.

"Let go," she growled.

Death ignored Darrel's words, well not early ignored as he did glance at him, but that was all it was, a glance. He didn’t say a thing, but that didn't mean that Darrel's words fell on deaf ears as Wulf just knocked Emerie's weapons away and was still standing in her way however he soon began to crack up. "You!" He pointed at Darrel while holding back a laugh. "You're in love with him?!" And then the laughter kicked in more from the small warrior, "Sorry to burst your bubble, but I think he's taken." He said between his laughs.

When Darrel through the javelin at the helicopter there was a quick reaction. "Desend!" The helicopter began to drop quickly and right when the javelin flew towards it Ryu shot it over head with his rifle, forcing its path to go above the blades. Then in that moment Death put the blade of his sword against the neck of his captor. It was in such a way that if there was even the slightest movement in the wrong direction that Malik could lose his entire head.

Death looked at Darrel. "If he's with you. Then you value his life. We're taking him with us or not at all. You already violated the rules." He spoke, his voice was crack and soft, as if he lost it. His voice might have been gone but he made sure his lips were readable. "We've nothing to lose and everything to gain. Back away." The KA-60 made its landing soon after that. And Death moved towards it with his victim in hand.

Abel moved to block Kendra's attacks, she was good, but Abel had trained for the last four years to perfect himself and he had gotten very good. He soon moved two bullets from his shield to fly right past Kendra's head. "You lost." He said as he moved so that his back pushed into her as he flipped her over his shoulder. Once her back hit the ground the barrel of his rifle was pressed to her forehead. His eyes locked onto her's, they weren't cruel or cold like Wilhelm or even like Malik. He had a warmth in his heart, something to live for. "Don't press your luck." His accent was think, and the tone of his voice was rough, like she was becoming a pain in his ass.

Death looked at Darrel, his eyes taking him in, only one of them wasn't real. "So, what's it going to be? Is he with you?" His blade pressed close to Malik's neck, a drop of blood dripping down from it.

Wulf meanwhile kept himself between Emerie and Death. He had stopped laughing and looked at Emerie. "I wouldn't push a guy ned Death. You wanna tell that guy to stop attacking the helicopters? I think Death is trying to leave quickly and on foot I can't see him carrying the whole body." Wulf was informing Emerie that of things continued to escalate that Malik's head would be separated to lighten the load. These people that were in the middle of kidnapping Malik seemed to just be hired hands, they didn't look like they worked for anything less than a paycheck, and in a way that was true for most of them.

(When Wulf busted out in laughter, so did Darrel. It was basically a case of "Wha...buh? HA HA HA HA!", being unable to contain himself there, despite the fact that this was a serious sort of moment. Though, considering the fact that Malik was Kendra's ex and that Emerie had declared her love for him, it was pretty damn funny! Still, during this moment, the K-60 had made the wise move of...well...moving, and having the Javelin shot. The trajectory couldn't be altered, because it was a sniper round against an energy force, but a sniper round IS a pretty nasty bullet. It detonated the Crimson Javelin prematurely and anyone close enough would be treated to the conflagration of its explosion. Funnily enough, if the sniper had had to shoot a Shadow Spear, you'd find two halves of a sniper bullet lying on the ground and the Spear's energy spent. In any case, Death was threatening Malik's neck with a blade once the laughing bit was over.)

"If he's with you. Then you value his life. We're taking him with us or not at all. You already violated the rules."

Darrel: Rules imply fairplay, and so far nobody's shown any of that to me.

"We've nothing to lose and everything to gain. Back away."

(This was a problem. There was something in that guy's voice that said 'unhinged'. Nevermind that he was dangerous. Lots of people were dangerous. He actually looked like he might be crazy. It's funny, he could have this situation resolved by letting Malik die, but that would disappoint Kendra, who was - by the by - kind of occupied herself. That wasn't any good. If this was just some guy, Darrel might be tempted to get at Death through him, but it wasn't the case.)

Darrel: Very well. Call off your dogs. If he dies, though, you will follow.

The happenings around her didn't gain her attention. Because of now being link to Malik, she knew he was alive. That was enough to no bothering watching the other fights. She knew Darrel would be alright and Emerie was damn good as well.

She gasped as he threw her over his shoulder and onto the ground. Then he did the one thing that was sure piss her off. He put a gun to her head. She glared at him, her dark eyes turning a deep purple. Kendra was getting tired of guns being pointed at her head.

"Don't press my luck? Don't press your own luck. You don't know me."

Just like that Kendra faded from view. She didn't just turn invisible. She flat out left the world and appeared in another one.

When she appeared back on Earth, she was behind Abel with a curved blade. Time flowed differently in Pixy then Earth so she had the time to grab a knife. She placed the knife at a angle at his back. All she had to do was thrust and it would slide into him. It wasn't a kill shot but it would hurt him.

"I'd hate to see your niece and nephew cry because you're hurt or dead."

Stella was on her laser tag team and had told her about Abel's return and the excitement the twins had with him.
